Worried about my overjet/lower jaw after Invisalign - borderline for jaw surgery

My orthodontist has told me that I'm borderline for needing jaw surgery, and they're sending all of my scans to a maxillofacial surgeon in Sicily for another opinion.
One of my biggest concerns is my overjet and the position of my lower jaw. I'm worried that Invisalign could improve the way my teeth meet but leave me with the same underlying recessed lower jaw/profile.
For anyone who was told they were borderline for orthognathic surgery:
Did Invisalign/orthodontics alone actually give you a satisfactory profile?
Did your overjet improve without making your lower jaw look more recessed?
Were you offered orthodontic camouflage versus mandibular advancement?
Did you regret choosing Invisalign first if you later decided to have surgery?
I'm obviously waiting for the maxillofacial surgeon's opinion, but I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have been in a similar situation. I'm particularly worried about committing to orthodontic treatment and then being unhappy with my lower-jaw position afterwards.

I’m 19 and feel like my appearance is stopping me from living my life

I’m 19 and at the moment my life is basically just work and going home. I’ve been going out very little, and even when I do make plans, I often back out at the last minute.
I’ll suddenly convince myself that I’m too ugly or that I don’t look good enough to go out. I’ll find some excuse not to go, stay home, and then feel depressed and disappointed in myself afterwards.
I know logically that other people probably aren’t paying anywhere near as much attention to my appearance as I think they are, but I genuinely struggle to believe that when I’m in that mindset.
I hate feeling like I’m wasting my late teens/early twenties because I’m too insecure to actually go out and live my life. I don’t want my world to become just work, home, and being alone because I don’t feel attractive enough to be seen.
Has anyone else experienced this? Especially women who used to avoid socialising because they felt ugly or insecure about their appearance — did anything actually help you break out of it?

Does my hair look dry or over-processed, and how can I improve its condition?

I had my hair coloured about a month ago, and I’m trying to work on getting it as healthy as possible while keeping the length.
Looking at these photos, does my hair look dry, damaged or over-processed? I’m particularly wondering about the mid-lengths and ends.
I’d appreciate honest advice on:
Whether you can see obvious chemical damage or breakage
Whether the ends look like they need a trim
Whether I should avoid colouring it again for a while
What I could do to improve the softness, shine and overall condition
Any products or ingredients you’d recommend for this type of hair
I’m mainly trying to retain my length while improving the condition, so I’d rather not cut a lot off unless it’s genuinely necessary.
