HELP what do I do now?

I just found this on my monstera. I believe it’s scales? I’m gonna cut this leaf off. But it’s in different places too and I am not sure what to do. Please help! I’m finding some on my other plants too. 😭

Update: I cut off the leaves that were heavily infested and damaged. Picked off what I could see with tweezers and then sprayed it with this mix. Water, peppermint Castile soap, isopropyl alcohol. Idk exactly how much of each I used maybe a teaspoon or two of soap and alcohol. Filled the rest of my spray bottle with water.

I’m just not sure now how to help my other types of plants. Still learning how to spot them and its damage.

Sleep apnea in your 20s?

How common is sleep apnea in young people?
How has sleep apnea impacted your life?

I understand everyone is different but am interested in knowing people’s experiences or tips.

I (25f) recently found out I have a posterior tongue tie, narrow palate and obstructed airway. My dentist thinks I have obstructive sleep apnea. How necessary is it to find out? My only noticeable symptom is tiredness in the day and teeth clenching.

Please tell me these spots on my new leaf are normal 😅 blushing philodendron needs help!

This is my blushing philodendrons new leaf and it has spots on it. The whole plant isn’t looking too great. Please help! It’s in an east facing window in the bathroom. It gets watered about every 5-8 days depending on the soil. It has drainage.

I realized there is a smaller plant growing at the base of the bigger one. I tried to seperate them but when I go it out of the pot the roots were way too intertwined.

We also have a slowly resolving gnat problem as you can see.

Rubber tree stick cutting propagated upside down 🙃

I had one really tall single shoot rubber tree with no leaves on the bottom. So I chopped about 3/4 of it and propagated all the cuttings. I now have eight healthy propagations and the mother tree has three shoots!! It’s been two months.

I didn’t know I propagated one of the sticks upside down. I tried flipping it back over when I realized but it wasn’t happy with me. I’m not quite sure where to go from here 😅

Which sleep mask brand is best for side sleeper?

Looking for a good quality sleeping mask to block the light. I’m a side sleeper and I’m worried about the mask moving around. Any experience with MZOO, LitBear, Alaskan Bear and Manta, etc.?

The plan: use up scrap yarn. The reality: buy more yarn and make a 15 foot hallway rug.

Rugs are expensive so I decided to make one myself. I’m super happy with how this project turned out and also glad to be done with it. Took around 50-odd hours to complete.

I used single crochet and three strands of yarn for this rug. To make it thicker and non-slip, I added mesh rug gripper underneath. I attached a strip along each side to make it secure. Then once it was in place added a long loose piece in the center. There was probably a better way to do this, but I had certain dimensions of the rug gripper to work with.

What is wrong with my Swedish ivy?

I can’t seem to keep this plant healthy. It constantly has brown spots and discoloured leaves. It’s currently in a west facing window. I water it about once a week.

Is my Monstera healthy?

I was gifted this monstera a couple months ago and have been doing my best to take care of it. It is producing new leaves some with slits and some small without. I’ve noticed that when I water it the following couple days the leaves welt but then it perks back up again. There is no excess water in the drip tray under the plant. I water it about once a week or when the soil is dry two inches deep. I keep it in a well lit window that gets sun throughout the day. Any advice would be much appreciated.
