I’m in a major slump right now and it’s getting me down. I have come to love the sport so much, this year was the first year I started hitting home runs.

I had 5 last season (6 regular season games) 1 this season so far, 2 games a week 4 weeks in. (Two teams) but for the past 3 weeks I haven’t been able to hit out of the infield.

Usually I’m smacking the ball back at the fence or ripping a liner right over infield. I feel like I lost all fundamentals.

What can help? I’m sure keeping a positive attitude might help but it’s hard to do that.

Anyone having issues with this bat right now or just my bad luck? I buy a lot of Rawling bats I like them, in the past year I’ve had to warranty a Freak Primo, 2025 Miken Freak, 2025 Miken KP23. All USA bats.

The freak primo started cracking and paint chipping after just one game, I was just starting in my softball journey and I thought I was doing something wrong, like hitting the wrong balls, I double checked and I wasn’t, I was hitting normal balls. I was so new, the replacement bat I was offered, I took and it wasn’t even meant for my league so I can’t even use it lmao.

For the replacement for the 2025 Miken freak (which had under 20 hits on it when it broke) I got the new 2026 Miken Freak and it didn’t last more than two at bats, from the sound of the bat I’m pretty sure it was DOA. I was playing in 80 degree weather using standard USA balls. Never caged these bats either. I’m hopeful they will realize the bats were defective and replace it again for me.

For the 2025 KP23 they had no more KP23 which I’m upset because it came to be my favorite bat so they’ve replaced it with a new Freak fire model, haven’t got it yet but I remain hopeful.

Can’t get my transfer pin due to the phone I need it from being broken, chat is unhelpful and so is the customer service on the phone. Stating “due to latency” they’re having issues. I understand latency but I’ve been on the phone for 50 minutes.

Anybody have any work around?

What is the closest to the flavor of the KS protein powder?

There isn’t a thing I’ve tried yet that’s close, it all tastes gross and like chemicals

Every time I leave my neighborhood, which is one of the ones off of 18th st near joes farm, it never fails that people on 18th street run the reds, even well after it’s been red.

Almost every other intersection in the city there is a red light runner and one just almost killed my family. A big ass truck blowing through a red light had to slam on the brakes and came within inches of T-boning my wife’s van with our children inside and would have directly hit my 3 year old daughter.

This has gotten to be insane, and I’m honestly against government cameras and flock cameras and all other governmental surveillance but something has to be done.

Sorry if this is ranty I’m probably overly emotional right now.

What should a standard gear loadout look like for PNW hikes?

I’ll be starting from easy-moderate and will work my way up to the harder trails.

I’m currently working on a Global Supply Chain Management degree, and I’m wondering if I should find a field I’m interested in and try to minor in that field.

Any advice would be helpful!
