Anyone having side effects from all meds?

Hi! Im 29F and for years I've always had some side effects from taking prescribed meds.

Sometimes it would just make me sleepy or fatigued, sometimes it would make me very irritable, or I'd get epileptic like attacks, my liver enzimes would exceed normal values,... I possibly have had bad reactions to vaccines, but we couldn't prove it afterwards.

When I get a fever, I take doses which are usually prescribed for children and those are enough for me to feel better. But when I take something for a prolonged period, i.e. for weeks or months, there are some side effects.

*Did anyone encounter this?*

(I am not asking you to diagnose me, I'm wondering if anyone had similar experience)

Vitamin D levels not rising despite supplementing 8000 IU, magnesium bisglicinate, MK-7 and zinc daily

My vitamin D levels were 39 nmol/L in may of 2025, if I remember well. I had severe insomnia, oain in the bones and a plethora of other symptoms. Since then, I've been suplementing vitamin D, K2 and magnesium.

For the last three months, I've been taking 8000 IU of liquid form of cholecalciferol 6 days a week, 100 ug of vitamin K2, 300 mg of magnesium bisglicinate and 15 mg of zinc l carnosine daily.

Im 29F, 168 cm, cca. 74 kgs. I rarely go out in the sun, but I do lets say once in two weeks for 1 hour in the noon, when i try to expose my skin as much as I can. I live in Mediterranean country.

Despite all this, my levels of vitamin D are 60-72 nmol/L each time I test it. I got some relief of the simptoms since i started taking vitamin D, but i believe I'd be much better if i got my levels even higher.

If I take more than 8000 IU, I feel like I get fatigued after an hour so I avoid doing that (even though I have fatigue also not connected to taking vitamin D).

Does anyone have an idea whats happening, what's the problem and how to get my vitamin D levels even higher?

I think I'm at least 70% out of depression. But now I don't know how to live anymore. I do not like who I've become. Help?

I've been struggling with depression for more than a decade. Sometimes it was better, sometimes it was worse, sometimes I could function with it pretty well. Very well I'd say. But for the past few years, I couldn't. I basically wouldn't do much whole day.

I have always been "a smart person". It was my personality - being smart, educated and a kind person. I'd always try to help, I'd always try to serve people around me to the best of my capabilities.

When I got severely depressed, I had to give up on the idea that intelligence is important. That education is important. That I can be helpful to others. I just had to unlearn a lot of my good values because I just couldn't hold myself to the standards I have had. I felt so bad because of it, and I had to convince myself that it is fine to lay in the bed all day. That life won't happen as i wish. I just had to let go of all my wishes for my future.

I've always thought that it is very important who do you surround yourself with. In the end I just hung around with anyone who was interested, because I lost all my previous connections with people who I thought led virtuous lives. And i needed to talk to people. I was even in a very traumatic love relationship because i was literally too tired to get away from the abuser.

And now... I'm feeling better. Most of my days I've got energy to get up in the morning, I could help someone in need, I could do simple tasks. I am in a much much better place in life. Even though I've got nothing, i basically have a blank situation and can make anything out of myself at 29 y.o., which IS something. I don't have money nor that much energy, but I've got much more that I have had for a lot of previous years. I'm in a much better place then people who maybe have children with an abuser etc.

But now, its as if I've trained my brain to think that nothing really is important. I know that that kind of feeling stems from the depression. But this isn't a feeling. I know how it feels when its the depression that's whispering that nothing is important. But I'm not depressed anymore. I'm just in a state of such blankness, i don't know how to explain it. Its like a thinking pattern maybe, it's not even rational like logic, but just nonexistence of values. How do I instill some values into myself now? It's not like "nothing can make me feel happy anymore", its more like "I've got nothing to aim at because I had to convince myself that all the aims are unworthy" so that i could live with myself not being able to meet any kind of standards. For example, now I am lazy (because i still don't do anything even though I'm not depressed anymore), but I don't feel one single bit bad about it. Rationally I know that other people judge it. But it just doesn't raise any shame in me because I've been trying to convince myself FOR YEARS that its fine not to do anything all day. When I've finally come to peace with it, soon I got better and what now? I have 0% discipline, I don't remember I was ever ever like this in my life, not even as a kid.

Does this make sense to anyone?

Did anyone encounter something like this? How to get out of this state? Does anyone know where I could find out more about it (movies, series, books, podcasts etc.)? I believe it would help me if there was a book with a character that somehow managed this situation.

Please, don't judge and be kind. Also, sorry if my English is bad, I am not a native speaker.
