The worst part is that there is no way for you to 'win'. Anything and everything you do will be framed as part of your 'problem'. There's no shelters for you to run to for this and if you try to seek help, people will think you are overreacting.
People whine about Daemon grooming or whatever and we never see people say a fucking word about this moron who stopped combing and let his hair tangle up.
So, they loan to kingdoms in order to bind them with debt. When the kingdom can't pay, they fund others to take over the kingdom to pay back the original debt (If it's even possible). Surely, the financial experts at the Iron Bank have considered refusing loans to those who can't pay their debts?
Why the fuck didn't he just accept Renly's offer to be named heir, mog the blackwater with him and then magicmaxx Renly a few weeks/months later to take the throne? Was he really that much of a fucking imbecile?
[Mixed Trope] The "more advanced" people are actually quite backwards
Generally speaking, more advanced and/or prosperous people tend to overshadow the achievements of lesser civilisations. However, this isn't always the case. Civilisations can live across the galaxy, and have significant power. They can still lack something taken for granted by a 'lesser' people. Here are some examples:
'The Race' - The Worldwar novel series
In this fictional take on the Second World War, a race of amphibian/lizard-like aliens invade the earth in 1942. This causes all of the previously warring factions to team up and turn their guns on the invaders.
The last scouting was done 800 years in advance. However, the lizard people could not conceive the technological advancement of humanity that only occurred within 800 years, as their own rate of technological development took much, much longer and had remained virtually unchanged within that timeframe. While the lizard people obviously had better stuff, they were caught off-guard by humans having aircraft, tanks and guns and not the swords their probes previously saw them having.
Essos - Slavery
Despite Essos being widely touted as a far more advanced, sophisticated and richer area of the world than Westeros, a significant portion of the people who live on the continent are slaves to the point that cities without slaves are called the "free cities". Slavery is outlawed in Westeros.
Star Trek - Ferengi
Despite being an incredibly rich and having their own interstellar empire, their social ideal is pure, unadulterated greed. Their society is structurally misogynistic with Ferengi women barely treated as people.
Necrontyr - Warhammer 40,000
Before they went through Biotransference to become Necrons, the Necrontyr, despite being another interstellar civilisation, could not rid themselves of tumors that seemed to be imbedded in their race. Their society was death-obsessed to the point that the most notable buildings that remain are tombs. Moreover, the majority of Necronytr/Necrons still live within a rigid hierarchical society that treats royalty as gods, even to their own detriment.
All of a sudden, bullying and harassment is a massive issue that must be resolved at once, preferably with some sort of parent-shaming or government intervention.
Are American NIMBYs even TRYING? Rookie arguments smh.
Favourite Legoset based on food ingredients you should get definitely get from the woods and put into a Beef Wellington to feed to visiting family members?
Favourite Lego sets where war crimes/crimes against humanity are being committed?
Genocide - Power Miners (In general)
The whole setting revolves around mining into places where clearly sentient rock people live. They are murdered en-masse when encountered and looked upon so horribly that throwing a stick of dynamite towards them seems to be standard practice.
Biological Weapons/Weapons of Mass Destruction - Lego Castle
While maybe a stretch, a dragon (which can also come under weapons of mass destruction) is being ridden by a knight and is likely to set fire to the castle and burn all it's inhabitants to death. While fire in and of itself is not necessarily biological, the giant creature that is producing it is. It's also the medieval version of a nuke.
Killing/Harming/violation of Civilians - Lego Kingdoms
Men at arms attack an unarmed and defenceless village, and will likely kill, loot and violate anyone or anything they come across to their liking.
Kidnapping/Human experimentation - Power Miners (again)
A notable rock person is being kidnapped and put into a cage. While kidnapping is abhorrent in it's own right, chances are it is being shipped off to be experimented on.
