M | 28 | Rwp/Isb - Looking for the missing entry to balance my trial balance and someone who can switch seats on road trips

Amma Abba wants me to get married asap and I don't want to marry someone I don't vibe with. ye buhat bara masla hai. So, Bismillah.

Long read ahead, so please sabr ka saath go through it.

---------------------------

Height & Weight: 5'11, 94 kg (trying to fall in BMI range but routine is forcing otherwise)

Location: Born in Lahore, raised and settled in Rwp/Isb

Residence: Own (Living with parents)

Education: ACCA (Left with last few papers)

Income Source: Family business and working with a startup

Marital Status: Single/Never Engaged

Religion:

  • I believe it's personal, but it's an important part of life.
  • Moderately practicing and trying to get better, I would say. Namaz and Fasting I don't miss.
  • I try to educate myself on various topics. I am currently diving into a few things and trying to educate myself on that.
  • I expect my partner to be on the same page, they shouldn't be like, 'Our forefathers did that, so how can they be wrong?' Like, there should be some conscience of their own so that they can figure out right and wrong for themselves instead of blindly following someone.

What I do to waste my time: (Hobbies or interests, whatever you call it)

  • Road trips are my thing. If you ask me that this is the place we should visit, my response will be like road trip, let's go," but unfortunately, life has gotten so busy that even plans made months ago sometimes get cancelled.
  • Trekking, at times I despise it, but ironically, I love it at the same time, as my body yearns for it if I don't go for it in a while.
  • Badminton and Cricket. It's been a while since I played badminton, but I started cricket recently.
  • Anime, if I am not doing anything and my mind is at ease, then this is probably what I would be doing. Jiraiya is a character in Naruto whom I think I relate to, as he is always doing something for his leaf village and even dies gathering intel to protect his village and was killed by his own student. In the same way, there is always something going on in my head to do.

Family:

  • Punjabi, Father moved to Rawalpindi in the 80s. An upper middle-class family, I would say.
  • Father started his own business almost 20 years ago, and I joined him a couple of years ago. He is almost well-known in his industry.
  • On the other hand, my mother is a housewife.
  • Three younger sisters. Two have graduated and will start their master's soon, and one is currently in her third semester.
  • My family is quite chill, more chill than me.
  • I've seen my father do household chores all my life and take care of the people around him, so the good you might see in my profile is because of the environment I was raised in. Alhamdulillah.

About me:

  • I am quite easy-going and a hopeless optimist rather than a realist. If you give me a stressful scenario, I will for sure stress about it but will figure out a positive end to it and then will take a chill pill.
  • I am the eldest, so yeah, I have been through quite a few things because you're the first one who is expected to take things head-on.
  • I avoid discussing things related to religion for obvious reasons, but if you're up for it and someone who can take another person's opinion, then let's go.
  • I have basic knowledge of many things, so yes, if a topic comes up and I know about it, we will probably talk about it for a good couple of hours.
  • My friends say I talk a lot, but some say I don't, so I think it depends on what level of our friendship is. One thing they all agree on is that I don't share anything and keep everything to myself.
  • I have only a few friends and barely go out because those few friends are here and there, lol. So, it's either work, family, or nothing, but given that, the love I have for road trips is unmatched.

What I'm looking for in a partner:

  • Someone who actually is aligned with religious values and does modest dressing.
  • Preferred age should be between 25-28, as I think if the age gap is huge, then understanding can be an issue at times.
  • Someone intellectual, a good conversationalist, like having their own opinions and can hold up a conversation, as for me, it is actually a vibe killer if you cannot hold a conversation. I am a sapiophile, so that's why it's important to me.
  • Please be family-oriented and someone who actually doesn't run away from meeting loved ones but has your own identity.
  • If you're career-oriented and want to pursue your career or education afterwards, then it is your right, and there won’t be any hindrance. If you're someone whose working hours are intense and who does understand that it's okay and the other person can be late often, then we might get along better.
  • Ichiraku's Miso Ramen is for you if you are open to spontaneous and impromptu plans. Like if your idea of having a good time is sitting in the mountains having a cup of tea and discussing something random, then wow, we're the same.
  • One more bowl of Ichiraku's Miso Ramen for you if you’re someone who doesn’t take things too seriously and has a good sense of humour and appreciates wit and banter.
  • I believe it is a man's obligation to bring the food to the table, so I don't require my partner to contribute to household expenses.
  • Physical attraction does matter to me, but I do believe it's subjective. I do know how to carry myself, so yes, I bring the same to the table.
  • Everything I have mentioned above is something I bring to the table myself, and that's why I am asking for the same in return.

Dealbreakers:

  • If you're someone who is not passionate about anything, then we might not get together, as I think you should have something to look forward to or work towards.
  • For some reason, having male friends is a deal breaker, and I do bring the same to the table I don't have female friends.
  • I don't smoke or party, so yes, you shouldn't be the one who does any.
  • If modest clothing is out of the picture for you.
  • If you want to move abroad. As I have no plans to move abroad or to any other city, even. If you're from rwp/isb then that will be a plus point. I know what I want to do in the future, and I am more aligned this way. Rest, ALLAH knows what is in store for me.

What can be a stumbling block for you:

  • Work is demanding, and I do work with a startup for now, so working hours are a lot at times, and at times nothing is on the plate, but mostly late sittings are there, so you should be comfortable with this.
  • Our family is tight-knit, and in important decisions we do take each other's opinions and then make the decision. My family is very important to me, and by that I don't mean that they will be your responsibility or that I expect you to do that in my place I simply mean that please be considerate in this regard.

Preferred Family Setup:

  • I am living with my parents and would prefer this setting in the future, but a separate portion can be a possibility. So, it's not joint-joint but not nuclear-nuclear either.

Do You Want Children?

  • Yes, probably after a few years, IA.

Rest, ALLAH knows what he has in store.

Timeframe:

  • Within a year if things go well.

I do want to involve my parents early on as well if things resonate.

If my profile somewhat resonates with you, then please share your profile when you message me rather than just sending hi or hello. Secondly, if we vibed well, then I might ask you to have a face-to-face conversation once before we move forward.

-------------------------------

P.S. If you are allergic to bearded and somewhat bald guys (can't do anything about it, genes), then yeah, please pass and save your time and mine as well.

Toad sage drops his pen.

Whenever I see this scene, it always hits me with the same intensity as it did for the first time. Sensei was wronged.

I think everyone felt something here when he was killed. Masashi literally wrote something to move everyone who watches this.

The tale of Naruto Uzumaki after Jiraiya drops his pen.

Why should i suffer alone after watching this.

Do you think there’s anyone else’s death in the animes throughout hurt this much?

  • I have no plans to move abroad or to any other city even.

What I'm looking for:

  • Someone who actually is aligned

with

  • religious values, modest dressing.
  • Someone who is intellectual and can hold up a conversation, as for me it is actually a vibe killer if you cannot hold a conversation. I am a sapiophile, so that's why it's of importance to me.
  • Please be family-oriented and someone who actually doesn't run away from meeting loved ones.
  • If you're career-oriented and want to pursue your career and education afterwards, then it is your right, and you will be supported fully.
  • I believe it is a man's obligation to bring the food to the table, so I don't require my partner to contribute to household expenses.
  • Physical attraction does matter to me. I do know how to carry myself, so yes, I bring the same to the table.

Do You Want Children?

  • Yes, probably down the lane after a few years, IA.
  • Rest, ALLAH know what he has in store.

Timeframe:

  • Within a year if things go well.
  • I do want to involve my parents early on as well if things resonate.

P.S. If you are allergic to bearded, somewhat bald guys, then yeah, please pass and save your time and mine as well.

Edit: Please don’t send "hi" or "hello." If you’re going to message, then please share your profile as I did.

Jiraya The Gallant!

GOATed scene before NARUTO entered the GOATed arc that will ever exist. This scene lives rent-free in my head.

Jiraiya deserved a happy and better ending. I wonder if any character will ever be portrayed like him in the future.

I never wanted any character’s revival in the anime as much as I wanted his.

Modric’s retirement is saddening!!

Is it only me? Whenever I see a reel or short regarding Modric that makes me sad, man. Neither a Croatia nor an RM fan, but he is good.

Every season, someone announces their retirement, man.

Do you feel the same or nah?

Truck & Masood Anwar

These two shayr are living rent free in my mind for a while.

1) Read this on a truck back in 2015 Sep prob.

وفا کی جنگ میں اُس کو منا لیتے تو اچھا ہوتا۔
اَنَّا کی جنگ میں اکثر جُدائ جیت جاتی ہے۔

2) I** read this one when Anwar Masoods wife passed away and he wrote this down.**

خاک میں ڈھونڈتے ہیں سُونا لوگ ہم نے سُونا سُپردِ خا ک کیا۔

What if your partner isn’t invested to this extent in you?

P.S It might auto translate the post so please lookout for it. Shayrs are in Urdu.

MBA, Kaist or Yonsei?

Asking for my sibling who got into Yonsei GMBA and received almost 40% scholarship too in tuition fees as well. She knows korean a bit as well as she has done diploma in the language so i think she will be able get hold of the language as well after some time as she has spent almost a year learning it properly. Now, I want to know what the job prospect will be like after doing MBA from either Kaist or Yonsei and secondly does the degree hold any value in korea or abroad for non-korean people.

Any guidance will be appreciated.
