Whqt do you guys think about my proposal for the Iraqi flag

The sentence on the flag can be translated to "the land between the two rivers". I used Akkadian letters to write and my idea behind making this flag was to make a secular flag that represents all people of Mesopotamia.

Would be problematic to book a hotel with my girlfriend

We are both of Iraqi origin but currently live outside of Iraq. She is Assyrian, while I am Arab/Armenian. We are thinking about visiting Baghdad together, but we would probably only book one hotel room.

I’m wondering if this could cause any problems, since we are not married to each other and would be sharing the same room. Would hotels in Baghdad generally allow an unmarried couple to stay together in one room, or could we run into any issues?

My girlfriend has Type 1 diabetes — advice for our 9-day trip to Naples in December?

My girlfriend, who has never been to Europe before, and I are planning our first trip to Naples this December. We’ll be staying for 9 days, and we’re really excited to explore the city and the surrounding area.

She has Type 1 diabetes, so there are a few things we need to take into consideration. She needs to use the bathroom very frequently and often gets tired, so we’re wondering how easy it is to find public toilets and whether there are any things we should keep in mind when planning our days. She also needs to avoid foods that are high in cholesterol.

What would you recommend we be particularly careful about during our trip? Are there any practical things we should prepare for, especially regarding food, transportation, bathrooms, or sightseeing?

We’d also love recommendations for places to visit. She is especially interested in religious buildings, restaurants, churches, and history, so we’d really appreciate suggestions for beautiful or historically significant churches, cathedrals, monasteries, archaeological sites, and other historical places in Naples.

Any advice or recommendations from people who have visited Naples would be greatly appreciated!

What should I know about Assyrians

So, my girlfriend is Assyrian and she’s very proud of her heritage. She often talks to me about Assyrian culture, history, traditions, etc. The problem is that I know almost nothing about it, and I think it would make her happy if I made an effort to learn more about her culture.

We’re both Iraqi, living in the west, I’m 3/4 Arab and 1/4 (Baghdadi) Armenian, so I’d also like to learn more about Assyrian culture.

What would you recommend?

What do you think would happen if Iraq restored citizenship to all Jews who fled the country, as well as their descendants—even those currently living in Israel.
