Experience stopping?

Hi!

I’m a 5’5 33 year old woman.

In my early 20s I was around 125-135 with no weight issues no matter what I ate. In my later 20s I went up to 145-154 and started going to the gym and tracking my calories and stayed mostly in the 145 range.

During covid I went up to 160 then crash dieted in a very punishing way for my wedding in 2023 (idk what I got down to- probably just 145 again) but after I was stressed at work and burnt out from my crash diet and ballooned up to 180 in 2025. I was depressed and over drinking as well. Not like Gerard Depardieu levels but wine for comfort and not just for fun.

Summer of 2025 I lost 20lb naturally. I started a new birth control pill in the fall which made me gain back 10lb in a month (back to 170)

In March of this year I started the wegovy pill and now (June) I’m down to 153. My goal weight is 145 so I’m getting pretty close. 150 is the cutoff for a healthy BMI for my height (I also feel like women have a bit of leeway + I have scoliosis so technically I’m taller lol)

I feel pretty on top of my eating and exercise. I started an anti depressant last year which honestly helped the most w my weight loss. I just went on the wegovy pill bc I was frustrated with the 10lb I gained because of the birth control pill after my summer of hard work.

I’m starting to think about what weening off the pill will be like and I was wondering if anyone had similar experiences? I know it’s in me to gain weight but I’m not someone who’s struggled with my weight all my life you know? I have 2 refills left and the price is pretty rich for me at the moment.

Etam X Rouje wtf?

I was so excited for the rose patterned swim suits. I saw from the original email that there was a bikini, two bikini bottoms, and a one piece in the pattern but on the US Rouje site now there’s only one bikini top and bottom option in the red rose.

RIT dye remover q

I got some red dye transfer on my light wash jeans. I’ve gotten red dye transfer on a linen top in the past and I’ve used RIT dye remover on it and it worked great.

When I went to read the instructions I saw it said not to use on denim tho.

I’m sure it could mess up blue or black denim but this is a pretty light wash and faded from age.

What do you think?

Refund check lost

I have a refund check that was mailed out on April 24. I called in May and said I never received it and they said to wait until June 8th. I’ve called the IRS every day since then and I haven’t been able to get through to talk to someone.

Do you think there’s a chance it will eventually show up on its own? I’ve only had one incoming package that’s gotten completely lost before. I’ve had a few incoming checks go ‘missing’ but I suspect those were more clients who forgot to mail them.

Do you think they’ll be of any help if I show up early to the post office?

Learning how to make silk slippers?

I want to make a pair of antique looking, slightly unusual pointed toe silk slippers. I’m inspired by this rosette pair and the shapes of these made by Theodosia’s Inferno. I read an article with the artist and I know she carves her own heels out of wood but overall I’m kind of lost on the process.

I’d like to stick to silk with a leather insole since poly slippers give me instant foot odor.

Has anyone had experience sewing shoes?

Where do you buy your materials?

Are there any online resources you recommend? I feel like most are for very wide ‘barefoot shoes’ which arent what I’m going for.

Procion Color Mixing Advicd

I want to come up w a dusty rose shade similar to this dress. I looked at the Jacquard dye mix chart and nothing is that similar. Would it just be good to start with the Rose or Antique Rose in small amounts to make sure it doesn’t get too saturated?

Has anyone achieved a similar color?

I’m starting with white 100% cotton voile so totally blank canvas.

Stabilizing faux wooden shoe bottom

Hi! I have these faux wooden sandals that I love but the smaller part of the sole makes it so if I walk on a slightly uneven surface like a subway grate or a tree root I totally eat shit.

At first my idea was to saw off this small lifted area to make it all one level but this appears to be some kind of plastic, faux wood and I don’t want to open a hole in the soles.

My other idea would be to use some kind of clay like substance to model around the small lifted area to make the front of the shoe all one level. Does anyone have experience with a material that could be used for this? I wouldn’t mind if it was black since matching the wood would be tricky.

Thanks for your help- idk why they designed these this way 🥴

I want to make a mini dress with a gathered empire waist like this (still fitted, not a babydoll dress) I’m not attached to the front buttons.

Any suggestions or keywords to look for?
