Which headphones are best for WFH calls?

So I live in a noisy area. I am looking for good headphones/earphones for calls. Someone told me to purchase headphones with a boom mic. Which ones are better? I'm open to other suggestions as well. Budget 5k.

Please remove this if not allowed in the sub.

Does Ultracode Perform Better with Simple Prompts?

I was creating a plan for a feature using Ultracode. I started with a simple prompt and asked Claude to optimize it into a more detailed one.

Before I used it, a colleague told me that detailed prompts aren't necessary for Ultracode. He said it's smart enough to understand the requirements from a simple prompt and implement them correctly.

Is that true? Does Ultracode generally work better with simple prompts, or is it still worth using detailed, optimized prompts?

Simple prompt:

```
Understand this feature and create a detailed implementation plan in the markdown file.
```

Claude optimized prompt:

```
## Feature Implementation Planning
We need to implement the following feature:
**Feature:** <feature_link>
Do **not** start coding. First, fully understand the requirement and the existing implementation.
### 1. Understand the Feature
* Read the issue and comments thoroughly.
* Investigate the relevant parts of the codebase.
* Explain the feature in your own words.
* Infer as much as possible from the existing codebase and project conventions.
* Do **not** ask questions that can reasonably be answered by reading the code.
### 2. Analyze the Existing Codebase
Identify:
* Relevant modules
* Files that will need changes
* Existing services, APIs, hooks, components, models, or utilities that should be reused
* Similar implementations that can serve as references
* Any architectural constraints or patterns that should be followed
### 3. Ask Clarifying Questions
Only ask questions that **cannot** be answered by inspecting the codebase or the feature description.
Before asking a question, verify that:
* The answer cannot be inferred from existing code.
* The answer cannot be inferred from existing patterns or conventions.
* The decision is required before implementation.
### 4. Think Through Edge Cases
List all functional and technical edge cases, including:
* Invalid inputs
* Permission failures
* Empty or missing data
* Concurrent updates
* Partial failures
* Migration or compatibility concerns
* Performance considerations
* Logging, monitoring, and error reporting needs
### 5. Produce an Implementation Plan
Write the implementation plan as a Markdown file containing:
* Feature summary
* Assumptions
* Remaining open questions
* Ordered implementation tasks
* File-by-file changes
* API/database/schema changes (if any)
* Test plan (unit, integration, manual)
* Rollout and rollback considerations
* Risks and dependencies
Do not begin implementation until:
* The Markdown plan has been written.
* All critical questions have been answered.
* The implementation plan is complete.
Worst oats I've ever tried – feels like chewing rubber
Never ever buy these oats.
I recently ordered them from Instamart just to give them a try. The packet clearly says to cook them for 5 minutes, but even after cooking them for 10 minutes, they were still impossible to eat.
The texture feels like pure rubber. You can't even chew them properly. I've tried a lot of different oats before, but this is by far the worst one I've ever had.
Complete waste of money. Avoid.
Should I Join at 12 LPA or Risk Waiting for 22 LPA?
I have been jobless for the last 2 months. I got an offer of 12 LPA from Company A, even though they had earlier promised 15 LPA. My joining date is on Monday.
At the same time, I am in the final stage of interviews with Company B. Only the hiring manager round is left. It is mostly a compatibility and behavioral round, and it will happen on Friday.
If I get selected at Company B, I may get around 22 LPA. Based on my discussions with them, I expect the offer to come on Monday.
I have already postponed Company A’s joining date by one week, so I cannot delay it again. Both companies prefer me because I can join immediately. Company B has also said the joining date would be within one week.
Company A has a 3-month probation period and a 1-month notice period during probation.
So, what should I do in this situation?
Should I join Company A? Or should I take the risk and wait for Company B?
Note: I took help from GPT to write this.
My Dream Offer With 80% Hike Got Revoked One Day Before Joining
Working in startups comes with both pros and cons. So far, I’ve worked at two startups, and honestly, the learning curve has been incredible. In just one year, I learned things that probably would have taken 3–4 years in a typical MNC environment. I even got promoted with a 60% hike and ended up handling tech, clients, and hiring as well.
But recently, I learned an important lesson the hard way.
I left my last organization because they were shifting to another city. After that, I interviewed with one of the best product-based companies. I cleared all 3 interview rounds, received an offer proposal with an 80% hike, and everything seemed set.
Then, just one day before onboarding, HR informed me that my background verification (BGV) had failed due to “overlapping employment.”
I was shocked.
When I checked the documents carefully, I noticed that my joining date at my previous company had been mentioned one month earlier than my actual joining timeline. Since it was a fast-moving startup environment without a large HR process, the mistake went unnoticed at the time — both by the company and by me. And honestly, I should have verified every detail properly before submitting the documents for verification.
Initially, everything looked fine, but at the final stage they marked it as dual employment and closed the case.
It was heartbreaking and frustrating because I had supporting documents and even offered to provide bank statements for clarification, but by then the process had already been closed.
One thing this experience taught me: never assume documents are correct just because they were officially issued. Always cross-check dates, timelines, and details yourself before submitting them anywhere.
Small mistakes can create very big consequences.
Also, if anyone knows of backend/full-stack opportunities or can provide a referral, I’d genuinely appreciate the help. I’m actively looking for roles focused on Python, FastAPI, AWS, React, and GenAI.
I’m looking to start a small business or side hustle that I can manage in just 2–3 hours a day. Would love some practical ideas that don’t need full-time commitment.
Budget: 10k per month
For context, I’m already investing in FDs and SIPs, so I’m now exploring ways to build an additional income stream. Any suggestions?
