I think it's particularly hard for me because I already have pretty significant mental health issues. I had been trying to taper from 900 using the smallest increment pills, 100 mg, but 900-800 and 800-700 both had me feeling a significant increase in symptoms for a week after the drop and I couldn't get myself to do another drop. I went back up to 900 mg when I was in rehab for alcohol (65 days sober woohoo) because they saw my old prescription for 900 and assumed I was still on that and I didn't correct them because I knew it would help with the withdrawal.
Now I'm in PHP for alcohol and I got my psych to prescribe 50mg/ml liquid gabapentin and I'm dropping by 0.1 ml (5 mg) per day and I'm finally tapering without withdrawals. I'm down 50 mg already!
My housemate is having surgery for tethered cord in a month and I'm planning to offer to switch beds during her recovery because it's adjustable (the head comes up to sitting)
How long can I expect her to need it? I know she can't bend at all for a while but after that I assume it will be helpful for getting in and out of bed. I wanna know before I plan to part with my bed lol
Binge eating since quitting drinking

At first my philosophy was "as long as I don't drink it's a successful day" but I've gained 5 lbs in the 3 weeks I've been out of rehab.. My new sleeping pills don't help, they make me ravenous.

Every night it's 3 bowls of ice cream, this comes out to 750 cals a night. I've gained 5 lbs in the 3 weeks since I've been out.

I also get sugar hangovers the next day. Every time I tell myself one bowl as a treat and then lo and behold I have 3 or 4.

They don't make antabuse for sugar and I don't want to cut out my sweet treat entirely, I deserve it. But they don't make cartons come any smaller.

I've had b/p but never dealt with a pure binge eating disorder before. Any advice would be appreciated
