Biggest hydrangea the in our backyard 5ft tall and only *one day* of 80 degree temps burn the leaves, as pictured, because the previous owner planted it in thee most scorching sunny spot in our north facing backyard.

It gets plenty of water because we know what a water hog it is. Doesn’t matter. What 6-7ft weeping dwarf flowering tree can replace it?

Is there anywhere that sells (not gray) flagstones for garden path by the piece? We don’t need a half ton, just six or seven 1-2ft singles

We’re looking at Elfin Thyme as a much liked possibility. Needs to be full sun and shade tolerant, lightly walked on tolerant and low water/maintenance. Very low to ground, doesn’t get woody or branchy. To break it up a bit but not too paved, we want to lay down a single or at most double row of flagstones. Will Elfin Thyme work?

Our Creeping Jenny spilling ground cover as intended when we bought the house (first pic) But have to keep an eye on big ceramic pots because somehow it manages to get *up* in them (2nd pic).

We’re experimenting for the first time with Creeping Charlie and Dichontra in pots, not as ground cover (last 3 pix). I know Dichondra gets long, I’m ok with trimming. Didn’t research Creeping Charlie. In pots, can either of these magically appear where they don’t belong like the Creeping Jenny has?

Near Portland. We bought this house 3yrs ago from an avid gardener and we’re not mad. Now. At first it seemed overwhelming because not a gardener. Still on a learning curve yet we’ve managed to not only maintain but with an eventual huge smile.

House came with 14 large ceramic pots, seven mature hydrangeas, a bunch of rose bushes etc. When we first moved in I tried to count how many different plants in the backyard alone and totaled over 40. See what I mean? We were thinking of selling some of the ceramic pots at first because it seemed like overkill with that many different plants already. But now…More pots please! lol

FYI couldn’t post every pic, 20 limit here
