Is it a thing now to expect people to buy you gifts for your 3rd or 4th baby? What if you work in a small hospital, they are in a different department and you don’t really know them? Today my daughter as told she is not invited to a party but is expected to bring a gift. Are these people nuts or is this a new norm?
Is anyone in BloNo interested in a COPD support group? I would love to meet and talk to people locally who share this problem. The closest one is in Champaign/Urbana and on-line groups are not the same.
My cat was just diagnosed after being on steroids. He is a rescue around 13 years old. I have lung disease which makes it hard to breathe plus constant fatigue. Vet left me a message about injections, blood curves with a monitor, more blood work needed, special food and more frequent vet visits. I also have a second cat that he bullies and my husband has a dog. I looked up caring for a cat with diabetes and I’m not sure I’m capable of doing it. Can anyone who is doing it tell me what your experience is? I need HELP. I really need to know what a typical day is like and how often a vet visit is required.
How many if you get angry over UTIs? You get them and you know what it is, yet you are required to go to a doctor, pee in a cup and now sometimes wait for days while they culture the specimen. ARGHHHH. My husband got one once. Because he made a big deal we went to the emergency room. They decided UTI and gave him an antibiotic-no specimen needed.
Door is made of paperboard layers. Menard is a billionaire selling crap. We’ve bought these doors before and they used to be so much better.
Please share the best bra you own. I have COPD and they all feel like I’m wearing a tourniquet around my chest. I bought a support tank and then I felt like I had the tourniquet around my entire upper body! I don’t wear one at home but would like some coverage when I’m out.
So, after a family trip I ended up with a virus that slid into pneumonia. Now I was finally feeling human again and vertigo hit me like a ton of bricks last night. I have the exercises to do but just want to cry that my life is out of control. I know that many of you are confined to home all the time but I really just need to be able to do something normal again. How do you handle the isolation?
I’m very angry and frustrated. As a F, 68, with level 2 COPD, I get sick often. 10 years ago I would be given antibiotics to prevent more infection and a codeine cough syrup for going to bed. Now, squat…. Wait and see. Meanwhile, my limited life is being spent coughing, sore throat and headache with no sleep. How can I get better without sleep?
