I told my housing authority specialist soon as I lost my job and she said she will see if she can get my rent lowered. My SSI should go back up since I lost my job. I contacted her today (as I’m still looking for work. I have an interview on Thursday at goodwill. I’m trying my best) and she told me she will talk to someone to see if I can get assistance. I moved in in 2024, paid rent and bills early every month. Will they be able to work with me or will I be getting kicked out next month? I paid my rent n bills for this month
