What are some name changes that worked so well it rendered a wrestler’s past name obsolete?
I instantly think of Jon Moxley re-adopting that name after he left WWE. His body of work under that name over the last 7+ years has made it so that even just saying “Dean Ambrose” feels incorrect, to the point that the few times WWE has mentioned him post-2019 they too have called him Mox most of said times.

(WON) AEW threatened to kick Jacques Rougeau out of the building after he threw a tantrum backstage before the Rougeau family tribute at Redemption.
>The tantrum was caused by AEW deciding not to use the tribute video he created. Jacques told AEW he would take care of the video but it was too long, included footage and music that AEW didn't have the rights to, and used Al.
>By the time AEW saw the video it was the day of the show and they didn't have time to make a new one.
