Are the number of droppers increasing in Telugu states nowadays?

I’m a dropper myself, and recently I’ve been noticing a lot more students taking drop years in Telugu states.
Is the number of droppers actually increasing, or am I noticing it more because I’m a dropper too?

What do you think are the main reasons behind it?

I got 17k rank in AEEE, please guide me

Got 17k rank in AEEE (HS: Telangana). Started researching Amrita campuses today and feeling confused about campus/branch preferences.

I only want South India campuses, so I’m considering:

  1. Amaravati
  2. Amritapuri
  3. Bengaluru
  4. Chennai
  5. Coimbatore
  6. Kochi
  7. Mysuru
  8. Nagercoil

From what I found online, many people say:
Coimbatore > Amritapuri > Bengaluru > Amaravati

But I’m not finding much genuine info about Kochi, Mysuru, and Nagercoil campuses.

Can seniors please guide me about:

  • Overall best campus among South India campuses
  • Placement differences between campuses
  • Which campuses are actually worth joining
  • Which branches I may realistically get at 17k rank
  • Whether campus matters more or branch matters more in Amrita
