Tote runner got mad at me for pushing items down in a tote. Was I wrong?

I was picking today, and one of the tote runners (the people that refill the empty totes) came up to my station after watching me put an item in a tote.

The tote was already about 85–90% full, and it was a bunch of the same items stacked up. I gently pushed the items down so they weren’t sticking up above the tote because I didn’t want it to end up overfilled.

He walked up with an attitude and told me, “Only push it down when it pops up with the orange light, and only fill the tote 100% full to make my job easier.”
I just said “okay” because I wasn’t trying to argue, but this is actually the second time I’ve had an interaction with this same person.

From what I understand, Amazon doesn’t want totes packed so full that items are sticking out or overflowing, so I didn’t think I was doing anything wrong. It sounded more like he wanted me to do it his way because it helps him.

Was I actually in the wrong here, or was he just telling me his personal preference? What would you have done?

How much could i sell a 2012 mazda 3 i grand touring for? it has 169k miles.

The problems it has
-needs rear and front sway bar links, you hear clunking when going over bumps)

- needs front left control arm

- A/C does not work.

but some of the fun features it has: bose sound system, sun roof, leather seats, cruise control, heated seats..

Would you change the oil now or wait?

Bought a 2025 Hyundai Sonata that was previously a dealer demo car. I purchased it with about 3,700 miles on it and currently have 6,576 miles.

The service sticker says 5/18/26, which has already passed. Looking at the CARFAX, I see oil changes listed on 11/13/25 (at 4,457 miles) and again on 12/30/25, but CARFAX doesn’t show the mileage for the 12/30 service.

The oil is about 5-6 months old now, but I have no idea how many miles are actually on it because I don’t know the mileage from that last oil change.

Would you change the oil now just to establish a baseline, or wait until the next recommended interval? What would you do in this situation?

Amazon AR Pick question:

Today while picking, an item fell off and landed under/near my station. I bent down and grabbed it because it was on the ground by the edge/corner of the station.

I NEVER stepped onto the AR floor, crossed any barriers, or entered the robot area.

Would this still be considered the AR floor, or is the AR floor only the actual robot operating area beyond the station barriers?

I'm asking because my site says entering the AR floor is an instant termination, and now I'm overthinking whether picking up an item near the edge of my station could be considered a violation.

Tiny bit of brake pedal play/wiggle normal on a new car?

Hey y’all, I just got a 2025 Sonata SEL Sport with about 5k miles on it and noticed the brake pedal has a tiny bit of wiggle/play if I move it with my hand or foot side to side. Brakes work perfectly normal and my older Mazda does it too, but the Sonata feels a little softer/light.

Is this normal or am I just overthinking because it’s a newer financed car and now I notice every little thing and being paranoid?

Did I misunderstand tote transitions this whole time as a picker?

I'm a newer picker at Amazon (about a month in) and I'm confused if I was actually being coached or if this was just a process correction.

Earlier in the shift my rate was mostly fine and I've actually gotten positive feedback recently (top quality, shoutouts, etc). But after getting moved to a new station because of a spill, a green/blue vest came up and observed me while I was picking.

My picking process was basically:
Grab the item > scan > toss in new tote (if the tote is full) > then push the old tote out with the new tote and hit rack light button.

She told me I should always do the tote transition/ process first before the item and said "it'II take all day doing that."

What confused me is:

• my tote transition time itself was actually fast
• I've been picking this way for over a month
• I see other pickers combine motions too

So now I'm confused if:
• this was an actual coaching/feedback
• she was correcting my process because of how I was moving the items
•or if l've just been misunderstanding the tote flow this whole time lol

Anv experienced pickers know what she likelv meant?

A to Z blocking my scheduled shifts from Report Absence?

I work a Thurs–Sun overnight schedule (6:30 PM–5:00 AM) and my normal shifts ARE showing on my main schedule, but when I go to “Report Absence” in A to Z, almost every date is crossed out/blocked like I’m not scheduled, it’s like that for the entire month of June as well.

Is this just an A to Z glitch with overnight shifts or are they purposely blocking call-offs because Prime/MET season is coming up? I still have enough UPT. Anybody else had this happen?

i got a 2025 Hyundai Sonata SEL Sport from Hyundai 2 days ago. It’s technically new, but since it was used as a demo vehicle, it already had about 4,000 miles on it when I got it.

I popped open the hood and noticed the coolant is below the MIN line

Hey, I’m about 3–4 weeks into Amazon (picking) and I’ve had 2 coachings recently.

One was from the system (I guess it flagged something), and another was a quality coaching from someone who came up and explained my errors. But I never had to sign anything or acknowledge anything.

When I check A to Z under “MyPerformance,” it still shows 0 coachings.

Is that normal? Do only certain coachings show up there (like formal ones)? Or should I expect them to appear later?

Just trying to understand if what I got was informal vs something that actually goes on record.
