Finally I have gotten my hands on the physical book!! That was a long 2 weeks waiting
Hope you all have a better experience then I did, feeling smug about being in Australia and being ahead of so many countries for the release. Rocking up to my favourite bookstore, asking for the book to find out the physical book isn’t out until the 18th in Australia.
Can kindle, can audio…. Cannot hold. 😩😩😩😭😭😭
Sooo I was on Etsy for something completely different (👀👀) and am now going to be the proud owner of this 🙃🙃🙃
How could I possibly pass this by?
Posting here cause I couldn’t find another sub for Cassie. I just finished The Sword Catcher… brilliant btw. The whole book I was reading “The Ratpacker King”.
I went into good reads to add book 2 to my currently reading and it wasn’t showing up!! So then I went to Cassie’s page scrolled down went “but it’s there! WTF Goodreads”………
And then I looked at the name again…. the Ragpicker King???????????
My brain isn’t coping. Send help. 😅😅😅
Anyone else noticing that prices at being withheld more often? It’s making it hard to gauge the market.
Me over here waiting patiently for whatever is meant to come today 😅😅😅
She started on Sunday. I got this today 😅😅😅
So I’ve been on this journey this year to find out what the F is up with my body. 2.5 years of physio for chronic pain. Constant illnesses and the rest. Suspected fibromyalgia and polymyalgia.
I had pneumonia in February where I was off sick for a month. Picked up another virus 2 weeks after going back to work (I’m now on virus number 4 and 30+ sick days)…. I was referred to a very thorough resp and allergy specialist at St.George Private in Sydney. Last week to rule out mould.. he did an allergy test and the area for histamine blew up. But… he said nothing to me after about that. I’ve been taking antihistamines nightly since I first saw him in April.
Naively I always thought antihistamines were for environmental things. But that night I went in to a very long winded Google eye opening learning session and realised I ticked off every single symptom and it explained majority of the issues I’ve been facing for years and years. Maybe well over a decade, close to 2.
So I’ve put myself on a low histamine diet as a “let’s see what happens” self investigation. I’ve been sick with said virus since Sunday so can’t report on all symptoms. But…. My face has changed. I’m less puffy. My chronic pain in my shoulder is and neck is almost non existent and I’ve lost over 4kgs!!!!
Im literally gobsmacked! I don’t see the specialist till the end of September, but I’m truly hopeful that I’ll be a completely different person by then! lol
Edit as I forgot the help part.
Snacks for all that is holy. Please give me snack ideas that isn’t a piece of fruit
Just saw this on an insta story. I’m scared
I started reading the series at the beginning of February when I was off sick with pneumonia, just over a week ago I finished the last book. I literally cannot wait for the next book to hurry up and come out.
I’ve very much enjoyed being in this fandom too. Even made my first reddit friend (maybe)… I see you littlekitty!! She’s just the most welcoming of people here. Yes there’s also the most random voting I’ve seen in fandoms (and I’m in a few).
So what’s my out comes.
I love the most TID and TLH…. I’ll take anything with Will, Tessa and Jem together (hence my chosen tag), let’s not talk about how broken Clockwork Princess left me. Maybe cause I’m originally from Ireland (living in oz) I just can relate more to the locations and history. But I adore the Victorian era stuff.
Lady Midnight is chefs kiss.
Irish so loved the battle of the Burren…. 🥰
Tales of a Shadowhunter academy has a place in my heart. I’m still not over the end 😭. I really wanted to see how their friendship grew.
Bane chronicles was a slog: I’ve actually DNFd it. But it’s still sitting on the bedside table as I’m determined to finish it. j’adore Magnus.
MALEC FOR LIFE!! HSJr is also chefs kiss (yes watched everything too)
So glad to be here. Wish I’d joined sooner xx 😘
My brother in law passed away 9 years ago and his wife is getting rid of a lot of his things. Of course his books have come to us and I just rescued this from the pile of books my husband was going to send to a book library. Is it any good?
I feel like I permanently have to keep a box of tissues with me reading these books……. I’m 70% into “Chain of Thorns”….. I am a sobbing mess. 😭😭😭 send hugs.
Oh >!Christopher!<
