My CC2 has been great and I have had zero problems with it, that is up until this morning. I set a print, it started fine. so I went to run some errands for about an hour, and then came back to the hot end clogged and backed up, creating a blob of death. Luckily it only effected the hot end, but it is definitely not recoverable, and so now I need a replacement. From what I can tell there is not official hot end replacement sold my elegoo, as the one for the CC does not seem to be compatible with the CC2. I have sent in a request to customer support but fear they will tell me that it is not covered under warranty as it is a "consumable" (which I find kinda BS since they do not sell said consumable). So my question is has anyone else bought, used, and/or reccomeneds any of the third party options? I'll of course wait to hear back from elegoo, but would like to have options as I do not wish to have a giant paperweight just sitting around.
