Mixing Axis and Allies Units

Has anyone incorporated units from other AA versions into this game? Such as mines, sea mines, scout cars, and anti tank guns from North Africa? Or block houses from D-Day? Or Infantry only factories from Zombies?

Typically I avoid house rules but lately I've been wanting to add more to Global.

Bonus Question: Does anyone know of a prewar setup for 1939 or sooner?

What would you change? 13,200 Trophies

Thinking of removing royal ghost, but not sure what for. Was using hero giant but I rarely get to use his ability.

Axis and Allies Zombies Global/Anniversary

Anyone ever try to apply the Zombies rules to these games? Would probably be super unbalanced but fun. Especially in Global. Would maybe need to make it so not every single infantry becomes a zombie on death. You would need to make your own cards or random way of selecting territories for zombies to spawn in as well. Any suggestions for adapting zombies to these games? I also like the idea of adding recruitment centers to global.

CK3 Help Spreading Legend

Playing as England. Could not spread my culture beyond England and some French coastal baronies.

I was using 3 different court positions to spread dostemic legend and spread abroad. (I'd switch between the 2 at times) Ive held multiple legendary feasts. I learned the French language and conviced the Duke of Normandy and the King of France to spread my legend and it didn't spread at all in their realms. I also have like 20% culutrual acceptance with French if thats relevant. Not sure if you can grand tour outside your realm to spread.

What more can I possibly do? I dont understand why the Norman Duke and French King didnt spread it even after they agreed to promote it. I gave up after it reached about 215 Baronies.

Axis and Allies Global Bid Non UK?

Usually when we play global the Allies get a 32 to 35IPC bid. Usually all of it goes to the UK. But if you couldn't use the bid money for UK how would you spend it?

CK3 Should I Declare Independence as Bohemia?

Chose the 1066 start. About 20 years in. I can declare and win an easy independence war from the HRE if I want. But should I? What are the pros and cons of doing this? I have no intention of becoming emperor, and want to play tall Bohemia.

Axis and Allies Man in the High Castle

Are there any home made setups for a Japan vs Germany/Italy post WW2 game? Not sure if it would be interesting or boring.

On the contrary has anyone ever played a Allies vs Soviets game post Ally victory? Possibly going at it right after the Axis surrender, whatever the board state is.

The REAL Reason AA Global is Axis Favored

When playing Europe on its own, the US makes 60IPCs including its bonus objectives. When playing Pacific on its own, the US makes 62IPCs including its bonus objectives. So you may expect 122IPCs per turn when put together in Global. However the US only makes 77 in Global including bonuses. So while in Europe or Pacific standalone, the US will put their full force in into one side, in Global they have to play both sides with hardly any additional income. Its almost like they have less money in Global.

Some may argue that this is so the US wont invest 122IPCs into one side of the board and kill Germany or Japan quickly. Good point but why not just force the US to split its Economy on both sides just like UK does? Would this not make the game more fair as it is heavily Axis favored by default? I may try this out but perhaps it'll make the Allies too strong.

If the US income is balanced for the Europe and Pacific games on their own (idk if it is) then why lower the overall income for Global?

Max Monarch Lifespan

There are a few modifiers in the game that increase "average monarch lifespan". The toilet paper act. A couple monuments I think. Does anyone know all the ways to build this modifier, if theres a max, and how old rulers can get? Thinking of doing a Venice run like this

Princess Gambit Unplayable

If you don't have all your cards level 15 or 16 you have basically no chance to win in this mode. I have one deck at that level and most of my other cards are 11 or 12. It Wouldn't be a problem if they matched you against players with similar collection levels. Everyone I play has level 15 and 16 cards. You can only play so well before the level gap cant be compensated for unless your opponent is bad. I can win most draft battles without trouble.

Help Asylum Mod Reset Base

Playing with asylum mod. Our entire base got reset despite having beds and a land claim block. Happened day 6 at night. Not sure if this was due to loot respawn being on 7 days? Normally thats not an issue.

I love this game but this biome is dreadful and makes my friend not even want to play. I would argue that it is the hardest biome in the entire game. I'm up for a challenge but Roots feels more frustrating than fun. I think the main issues are:

  1. Navigation: Where other biomes feel like they have plenty of ways to reach the peak, Roots almost always has us backtracking due to dead ends. Routes that are unclimbable without, or even with, the perfect gear. This kills time, which means youre getting hungrier. At least there is some food to forage, but the terrain pathing is brutal and leaves you feeling helpless at times.

  2. Roots counterpart Tropics, is MUCH easier to climb. We really breathe a sigh of relief when we get Tropics instead of Roots. And this only makes us dread it more when it's Roots instead of Tropics.

  3. Hazards/Enemies: I think Roots is the most dangerous biome. Zombies, beetles, spiders, poison bush bombs, sleepy muchrooms/gas and the wind really keep you on your toes. I actually like all these extra dangers, but in combination with the wicked terrain can be overwhelming. Once I got completely stun locked by beetles and couldn't even get up, which was honestly hilarious.

Overall, I know the games supposed to be challenging. That's what makes reaching the PEAK rewarding. But the difference in difficulty between Roots and the other biomes, especially its counterpart Tropics is too much.

So I declared a kingdom war for England which should have absorbed the England kingdom title into Danelaw kingdom. However after winning, the game stated that Danelaw was absorbed into England kingdom title. Which is not what the game told me should have happened. Worst of all somehow this made my realm called Wales. WTF? As Danelaw should I not completely absorb England so this doesn't happen? Am I missing out on anything from not being Danelaw anymore? This hurts for role-playing reasons at the least. I have all the land under one kingdom at least.

Edit: Was able to change primary title to kingdom of England but Danelaw is gone sadly. I just edited Kingdom of England title to Daneland and changed the coat of arms. Dont think anything else actually changed.
