i hate this guy but idk why

maybe he reminds me of an ex of mine, but his entire demeanour gives me the ick so much (considering he's only on screen for like 3 seconds loool). it's probably his boyish, cocky nature. idk every time i get to that episode, i'm like ughhhh not again.

p.s i know he's better than ezra, but i'm not comparing.

fireworks every single night from august till november, what is it? HU4 / HU13 area

in the HU4 area (maybe even HU13 area) i can hear multiple fireworks being let off every single night from august until november. every year. this must be the fourth year that i've noticed it now.

i can never actually see them in the sky though -- can only hear them. on occasion, they've even let them off during the daytime (which seems pointless to me!)

every year i've always been so curious as to what it is / where it's coming from...

i originally assumed it was just some young kids messing around but my fiancé then said about how expensive fireworks are, so to be setting off multiple a night for months, it can't be cheap!!

i hope somebody can end this four-year long curiosity saga for me ahahahha

looking for a sad classic / modern classic novel, any suggestions?

so far, i've only really found two modern classics that really got me: stoner + giovanni's room. i definitely prefer modern classics over classics, but open to any suggestions.

the NAT club + Maya's stalker storylines could have been soooo good

idc, they didn't do maya's (with nate / lyndon) storyline justice. it could have been so interesting and creepy. it felt so rushed and unimportant.

and the NAT club storyline, as gross as it was, would have been so good, but they seemed to just randomly drop it?

is terraced and semi-detached housing common in american suburbs?

in england, most of our housing is either semi-detached or terraced. whenever i see photos of american neighbourhoods (unless they're inner-city townhouses), they're ALWAYS detached. but even in english suburbs, we have so much terraced housing.

it makes me wonder how on earth americans can afford it as detached homes in england are often a middle or upper class thing.

are fake IDs as common in america as is portrayed in movies?

i'll admit, this thought originally sprouted from the film Superbad (if you know, you know).

but now, i notice it in SO many american movies and series now.

like, they always portray the idea of under 21s having fake IDs (not to mention, they make it seem like they're really easy to get).

over here in the uk, i've never known anybodyyyyy to have a fake ID. even if someone did have one, there's no chance it'd work!

how did ezra think he got alison pregnant if they never slept together??

when aria finds out about the book, she says something like "you thought you got her pregnant"

but in the scene of alison and ezra in the car, one of them says something like "nothing ever happened" or "we never did anything"

which is true?

this is so random but i hope someone else can remember lol, it's bugging me

so, i've just started watching the film Her. as soon as i put it on, i had some sort of flashback of Melissa saying "she was in Her, with Joaquin Phoenix". i can't remember the context, and i can't remember who she was talking about. i've looked at the cast and i don't recognise any of them. i literally can't stop thinking abut it!! it's bugging me so much hahahah
