Protagonist hunting themes in novels.

I have read a novel called "Protagonist are kil-ld by me" . Its a slop quality, novel where mc is bound with a system and goes to different world to off Protagonists.

It shows how Protagonists of a world is bad bcz they steals luck of the world and it tries to subtly potray the Protagonists bad cz they usually have harems. But by the middle of the story the mc who has been villanizing Protagonists got a harem . And he is by no means less than a Protagonist himself . For example suddenly making the females around him to defect to him from the Protagonists for no reason . And i started rooting for the Protagonists and ur mc has to be really shitty to make that happen.

This novel made me scarred for life about harem genre. Made me realise, harem novel will go back on their premises to make the harem happen.

But the Protagonists of a world , the luck child trope and mc dealing with them is very entertaining.

I am looking for novels that have this as a main theme. As in dealing with destined protagonist of a world. World hopping and stuff. Please reccomend me some novels that uses this trope.

Perfectly summarise James Gunn's priority .

The priority lies in creating spin offs of side characters.

Can we just admit that decision to make spin offs of side characters before projects of main justice league members for your new dcu is bizarre?

I wonder what actually happened. Was it just marketing, or did something change after James Gunn said the Supergirl script was one of the best he’d ever read?
