1st time Tri tip questions

1st time smoking tri ti. Making 4 of them for father's day.

Using a GMG pellet smoker;

Any advice would be awesome!

Type of pellets?

Rub?

Marinade?

Timing?

Edit: I've made tri tip many times before just haven't smoked one yet.

Malaya

Malaya. Anyone try this new spot on Wells where the German restaurant used to be?

I'm a fan of Filipino food and was just wondering if anyone has any experience here yet?

Also anywhere else someone would recommend local Filipino food?

So far I've tried the Tapsilog(Delicious would rate 8 out of 10), lumpia(6/10) and the adobo (5/10)
