So this was originally found in the 1960s by my Grandfather in a chest. The back of the poster has white paint from that time period. 11 years ago, when my Grandmother passed away, our family found this again while going through her stuff.
It’s really degraded and it’s protected on both sides by a layer of plastic, courtesy of my Grandfather as soon as he found it. If anyone can give me any advice on keeping it properly preserved better, I’m all ears. Looking at this again after so long, I can see why only 1% of all Roman & Greek literature survived to the modern age.
