Looking for some limestone climbing near red rocks. <1hr drive ; minimal approach since we have to be to the airport by 5 to fly home.probably looking for something in the la madre area but not familiar with it at all.
My max is about 5.9 sport and partner is upper 5.10s (we’re usually trad climbers so sport is ~harder~ for us lol)
In the market for something to use on the treadmill. I’m sequestered to the dreadmill when I’m on call for the hospital about 2 times a week. Typically running intervals or just an easy run. Max an hour or so.
I’ve previously had the MTC R1 - I liked, would probably go back unless other suggestions sound fun
Currently using a pair of Saucony Xodus ultra. Tried them for trail and did not like them but couldn’t return so have been using them on tread. Finally racked up enough miles to retire them.
trying to figure out if what I'm experiencing is normal with coaches. If you have a virtual running coach, do they send you a weekly questionnaire? Or is it up to you to communicate with them weekly?
And does your coach ever comment or review workouts/send feedback?
Trying to get the vibes before their upcoming women’s night on 6/26. I’ve never climbed there and don’t have a belay partner to attend with. So having to rely on meeting someone ~in the wild~ is making me slightly nervous. Don’t want to show up and find out no one actually goes or it’s super cliquey and then I’m out 60 min of driving and 20 bucks lol.

And if you’re a women and interested, let me know, we could carpool. I’m an outdoor climber exclusively but want to try the gym out to work on some technique things. So ya wouldn’t be stuck with a beginner
I’m up in Bellingham but interested in coming down for the women’s climb night. I don’t have a belay partner. Is it cliquey or easy to climb with someone else? Do a lot of women show up?

I can see on the scarpa website they have the low version with laces but you can’t get them shipped to the USA from them directly. Couple of more sketchy looking UK sites might have them? Has anyone gotten their hands on them?
I can also get to Canada really easily so if you’ve seen them up there, that would be helpful to know, before i start calling every outdoor store lol.
Trad climber mainly climbing Squamish cracks & multipitching N. Cascade granite. Want that all day comfort shoe!! I tried on the mid version but the ankle collar cuts in really weird so I think the low version will be perfect. Velcro and cracks just don’t go hand in hand, hence wanting the lace version.
Currently in LS Mythos (sized too small for all day comfort despite a year break in). I’m tired of loosing my big toenail
Trying to find my all day comfort shoe for alpine climbing in the North Cascades and crack climbing in Squamish. Ideally, I think something stiffer than the Mythos (still learning to trust my feet) but still decent for smearing (so maybe not as stiff as the TCs?)

And how you sized compared to street EU shoe
Worried about that high coverage of the Achilles on TC pros might not be it for me. I have terrible flexion in my ankles lol
