Why do you think they run so many sad commercials (children with cancer, abandoned animals, homeless teens) on MSNOW? If it's true that ads are aimed towards a certain demographic, what group do you think are targeted? Older people, those with a liberal lean, or something else? For all I know, just as many are shown on FOX.

The name should be changed to the Jonathan Lemire Show. How much are Joe and Mika being paid to not show up? They already got an hour off.

I'm in my early 70's, and after years of getting blonde highlights (I was light blonde until my late teens) I've grown out the highlights. I have one lovely gray (almost white) streak in the front, but otherwise my hair is a very mousy ash blonde/light brown. It is just so dull! My hairdresser says she can add back some blonde streaks, but cannot match my gray streak. Should I try another colorist, or is what I'm requesting unreasonable?

Edit to everyone: Thank you for your responses. It seems like it would be best to let nature take its course in waiting for more hopefully streaky gray!

As the grandparents of a child being treated for cancer (again!) the constant requests for donations from one hospital that I won't name on TV cause us to frequently run for the mute button. Believe me, I understand that they do great work. But we are looking for a bit of an escape from the worry and helplessness of the situation, not constant reminders!!

So, when you are giving your dog a good scratch and his back leg starts kicking, how do you interpret that? I always assumed that I hit a good spot, but it just occurred to me that maybe I'm bothering him. What do you think?
