Honestly, I don't really want to stay in my hometown for NEET prep. I barely get any privacy here, there are way too many distractions, and relatives keep visiting all the time, so maintaining a proper study routine is difficult.

I was thinking of joining a coaching institute in Dehradun from August, although it'll probably take some time to convince my parents.

A lot of people suggest Delhi or Noida for coaching, but my parents aren't comfortable with that. They feel Delhi's environment isn't great and don't consider Noida very safe for girls. They think Dehradun is a safer and calmer option.

Personally, I kind of agree. I don't want the big-city hustle, chaos, or unwanted attention. I just want a peaceful place where I can focus on studying.

Faculty is another reason. I could join coaching here too, but there's always the risk of teachers leaving midway through the session, and that's a huge issue for NEET prep.

Everyone on this sub keep posting- how they are going this college, that college. By this I'm not showing that I'm jealous but it hurts. Being a pcb student sucks fr. Oky I can get admission in a 3 tier college for a haggi hui degree but uske baad? Berozgari? Also I live in a 2 tier city which do not have any tourist spot so I feel suffocated. 🥀

I'm feeling very demotivated these days and I'm unable to study. I just sit with my Chemistry book open and end up doing nothing. I really need some tips because I've become very lazy and unmotivated. I get distracted by my phone, my puppy, and literally everything around me.

I don't know what happened to me. During my board exams, I used to study for 5 hours a day, and even after the boards I continued studying for NEET. But after the results came out, I completely lost my motivation.

Has anyone else gone through this? How did you get back on track?
