Can I get a college at this?

I view my old friends stories and they click really good pictures I often go through their highlights to sort of learn the poses and lighting so I can do it too, cause I can't click one to save my life, but I realised instagram now shows who viewed your story and how many times I dont talk to these people anymore and I think they might get the wrong idea? Please help can they see their highlight views or will I get to the top on their views?😭i wasn't even doing it with bad intentions or for judging.
