Ik vind die jaren 90 designs heel gaaf. Ik kan me ook nogsteeds de pakken melk van toen voor de geest halen.

Anyone that knows about a camerashop in Sendai that has a nice stock of film cameras?
I love my Nikon F4 and my lil love gets a little pillow next to mine, I use her everyday and she only gets moved when sharing the bed. Never know when you need to wake up dead in the night for some pictures or need a little comfort. (It might happen you never know!) Along with my SB800 in the case with my tripod in case I wake up and want to shoot some star pictures or get up and go for a morning photo walk.
Verklaar u nader.
I’ve decided that once I finish reorganizing my Lightroom catalog, I’ll finally allow myself to purchase a Leica M.
This isn’t about the camera.
It’s about discipline. Growth. Becoming the kind of person who deserves a Leica.
Every day, as I scroll eBay listings and watch Mandler lens reviews, I’ll be reminded of my commitment.
The Leica is not the goal.
The Leica is merely the physical manifestation of my transformation.
Anyway, does anyone know if the MP or M6 is better for photographing gas stations and my espresso on Cinestill?
I’m especially interested in men that are actively dating. Do you see yourself settling in the future? Or do you really feel like staying single?
EDIT: I see a lot of jaded men in the comments which I feel bad for. I personally just really enjoy the single life. I do have a long time FWB going on at the moment. But I don’t see myself settling anytime soon if ever at all, but never say never. I’ve had two longer relationships, but I wasn’t a big fan in hindsight. It’s just not having to explain myself and just doing my own thing having a “me” life instead of a “we” life.
I don’t mean conceptual work is bad. Sometimes the idea behind an image can make it much more powerful. But lately I feel like, in a lot of gallery and museum photography, the actual image itself seems secondary to the artist statement or theoretical framework around it.
Sometimes I’ll see work where the writing does most of the heavy lifting, and without the explanation the photos don’t really stand on their own visually or emotionally.
Curious if others feel this way, or if I’m just looking at the wrong kinds of contemporary photography.
Edit:
I don't think intention or conceptual photography are bad per se. But the images should'nt come secondary to the idea behind them.
Take Richard Misrach for example. His photographs work on two levels: first as images themselves, through their use of light, color, composition, atmosphere, rhythm, scale, and emotional ambiguity; and second through the meanings that can be read into them, whether environmental, political, cultural, or art historical.
What makes Misrach’s work so strong, in my opinion, is that the photographic layer stands completely on its own. The interpretive layer adds depth, but it isn’t necessary for the images to function. That’s the distinction I’m trying to make I’m not against concepts or intention; I just don’t think the image itself should become secondary to the concept.
Really love how the colors pop.
