So we all know that Mugabe is famous for his disastrous economic policy that led to hyperinflation, but I was shocked to see that his original political party, Zimbabwe African National Union, was actually a far-left Maoist pan-African political party. Can someone please explain me this particular paradox?

So I was scrolling through an article on the Communist Party of Burma when I suddenly noticed an autonomous region named, "Wa State". I searched it on Google and I found it is, in fact, an autonomous region within Myanmar, governed by a Maoist political party named "United Wa State Party". But I also founded the United Wa State Party followed a Wa ethnonationalist ideology, which is against the principles of Chairman Mao Zedong. Can someone please explain me the lore behind this strange Maoist but ethnonationalist autonomous region?

As a diehard Marxist-Leninist-Maoist, Hoxhaist, and Jucheist(from India), I was always a huge admirer of the three ideologies. Although I wasn't exactly a proleterian (I was raised in a petty bourgeoisie family), my family were strong Marxist individuals and I got exposed to politics at a young age. A socialist dictatorship should absolutely be perfect unless it executes or jails legitimate opposition such as freedom of speech, expression, thought, and press. Historical examples include Gaddafist Libya, who supply regional direct democracy and actually cared for the people; he gave interest-free loans and lent a huge sum of money to newly married couples and the jobless. Yet, Western media portrays him as a brutal dictator. I hope you guys understand me. Please spread this word of anti-imperialism and resistance to Western hegemony. Thank you guys In advance. Key features: Land redistribution from big corporate companies to both rural peasants and urban workers. The states/regions/provinces were governed by the State Council, and a specific set of banks and companies were nationalised while the rest were put under the control of the Councils. The [Name of Country] People's Army served as the Armed Wing while the Red Frontier served as the militia. The death penalty was abolished contrary to the custom but the Chairman considered it as imperialist. The Chairman was the head of state and was the General Secretary of the CPLL, the Commander-in-Chief of the Army, while the Premier served as the second-in-command. The culture in the country follows a strict, militaristic "middle path", rejecting both traditional conservatism and Western individualism, providing gender and racial equality while avoiding the liberal democratic chaos of the West.
