Feel good movie recommendations, Im down with a flu

I just discovered this awesome subreddit. Im currently down with a flu, so I’m planning on staying home all day. Would you have any recommendations for feel good movies?

In exchange I leave you my all time favourites:
-Laws of Attraction (Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore make me believe in love)
-The parent trap (the love story of the parents is very sweet)
-Two weeks notice
-Maid in Manhattan (Ralph Fiennes be mine)

Also my all time favourite movie is The end of the affair with Ralph Fiennes and Julianne Moore. So Im also open for something more dramatic and still romantic.

Preparing for the cold 😂

I’ve read so much about how the best jumpers are the cotton/merino ones so súper hyped that I found these two. I already have a second hand Gary in bright pink that I love so I’m excited! I’m also hoping the sleeves of the Camilla jumper won’t be too long.

Also excited about the claudio shirt, I was looking to add a bit of color to my mostly white work shirts.

Still considering the Evelyn and the Meryl dress, but 160€ in one day seems like enough damage.

Hi all,

In a couple of weeks I will have something super nice to celebrate with friends. I'd love to go to a place with a nice vibe where we can drink some bubbles and have some tapas/dinner. I'm thinking of a cute wine bar/restaurant with good food. Hopefully you have some recommendations that are around the 50-60euros per person.

I've of course already googled a lot, I came across Bar Berta and Janssen en van Dijk, but perhaps you have other ideas.

Thank you!

I have been looking for a home on and off for around a year. I have used the stekkies app for about 6 months, I have all sorts of email alerts on, I have paid countless websites (MVMG, immovita, kamernet), I have tried looking for shared accommodation via Facebook, yet nothing!

I'm seriously becoming desperate. My current living situation (in Rotterdam) is very hard to handle. I actually have also looked for a place in other cities with the same fruitless result: Leiden, Den Haag, Utrecht.

It's seriously stressful. For a bit of background I'm a 34 yo woman, I have a permanent contract at a very serious company, I make the 4x rent income requirement, and I have no pets. I do have to admit that I've tried to cap my rent at max. 1200 excl., I know that is not much for Amsterdam but after so long I would have expected something to pop up. Also, how come is 1200 excl. also not enough for the other cities I have listed? And how are so many shared apartments on Facebook >1300?

Last week I tried to hire the services of a huurmakelaar in either Amsterdam or Den Haag, everyone I emailed replied that either they don't offer the service right now or that they only offer it for places >2000eu.

To a certain extent I feel like I'm being seriously punished for being single.

End of my rant. And, if anyone has any tips I would appreciate them very much <3
