Thinking about cutting layers ? (A rant)

How about you shoot yourself in the foot first ?

See, I have fine wavy hair. 3 fucking years ago, I had that great idea of having layers cut into my hair.
I was thinking “well it might help my layers be more bouncy and give me a little bit of volume !”

3 years later here’s my review :

See this adorable hairstyle you’ve seen on TikTok ? Erase that from your memory immediately. Never on your hair. Unless you like having antennas sticking around your head like a weed field.

Oh, you wanna wear your hair straight for a change ? How about ratty ends and shelves and hair poking in stupid directions ? 🥰

Dachshund aren’t your favorite dogs ? Too bad, that’s how your hair look around your face whenever you wear it natural, sooo time to consider it !

God HELP YOU if you are neurodivergent and have sensitivity issues. Having some hair shorter than the rest is almost a guarantee to ALWAYS have hair in your eyes or touching your face.
Nooo you can’t tie them up, cause they’re
SHORTER THAN THE REST✨ and will look either like those palmito ponytail you see sometimes on Yorkshire dogs, either like the weedfield we’ve talked before !

Oh and it’s gonna take YEARS to grow them out ! Yeah ! I now have a bob AND bra-strap length! Dreamy !

I’m sorry, but if you’re considering layers, please think deep and long about it. I regret it SO MUCH. I want to grow my hair long but it looks HORRENDOUS.
I think I’m gonna have to cut a bob again and it’s seriously depressing. 3 years of efforts down the drain.

My wife asked for an open marriage.

I’m 34M, my wife is 32F. We’ve been together 8 years, married 5. We have what I honestly think is an amazing, loving relationship – intimacy is the best it’s ever been, we talk about everything, and I know we both love each other completely.

So I was absolutely shocked the other day when she brought up wanting to try an open marriage, just as a test. She said she feels like something is missing for her, even if she can’t put it exactly into words, and she’s curious what else is out there.

My first reaction was pure hurt – I kept thinking “why would you want this when everything feels so good between us?” But I sat down and really listened to her, and her perspective actually made a lot of sense in a way.

The weird thing is… part of me wants to say yes. I’m curious too, there’s a side of me I’ve wondered about exploring. But I’m so scared – specifically that I’ll enjoy it way too much. I don’t know what that means or where that fear comes from, but it’s holding me back.

We both care about each other more than anything, we’re just unsure. I’d really love to hear from people who’ve actually tried this how did you navigate it? Did it bring you closer or push you apart?.

“L’homme est un loup pour l’homme”

Morts par les loups : 25 entre 2002 et 2020
Morts par les moustiques: entre 700 000 et 1 million par AN.

L’homme n’est donc pas un loup pour l’homme, mais un moustique.

Quote from my dear sis who’s absolutely certain that my eyes are in fact, grey. She has brown eyes btw 🤨🤣

What’s your vote ? Blue or grey ?

You should know that every comment that says blue will be rubbed in her face 🤣😂
