Self-driving car episode (S19)

The way that this episode pisses me off so much and it’s not even real. The weird guy who is sitting in the back bc he trusts this car because he’s “humanised” it by naming him so he trusts that it won’t break down is basically a scenario for those who personalise their Chatgbt and expect it not to leave them…

DNR question for Americans

S19, an intern knows the patient has a DNR saves her anyway, what are the repercussions for this in reality?

Especially if the patient has official documents that say ‘I want a DNR’, can the person sue? Or what happens to the doctor cause obviously, in Greys, nobody gets repercussions…

Luigi Mangione fans

Okay so I heard a podcast that the court is now implementing cautions to make sure jurors won’t be harassed by fans. Is this true? Has this really stirred this much chaos?

Now, my other question is: is it just because he’s attractive? In this podcast, they were like ‘if this was a below average man, I don’t think it would have this much hysteria’. Do you think that’s true?

Maggie

One of the most infuriating plot lines is the fact that Maggie cannot communicate. Especially with Winston. Refusing the acknowledge that he’s clearly stressed when a patient dies and she’s like ‘omg read the paper I wrote’ or when he’s trying to tell her his concerns about the marriage, she’s like ‘yeahhhhhh, I think we should just keep our distance until we can get therapy’ or just the general way she avoids communication entirely and makes everything worse for herself :))))

Greys Anatomy Roe v Wade

As a non-American watching this episode, I have to ask whether how it was portrayed on the show was exactly how people were or are behaving towards it being over turned? Doxxing medical professionals, setting fire to clinics, endangering and harming doctors etc. Is this really how people acted?

Closure of the teaching programme

Might be an unpopular opinion but Webber is to blame for the training programme closure due to his lack of care to implement a safe programme for the students as well as using his marriage to Catherine Fox to make sure he gets everything he wants 🤷🏻‍♀️

Kai

Ykw their character development in only a few episodes has definitely been one of the best. The fact they were like ‘look, I don’t want kids, that’s not what I want so I don’t think this will work’ and I only wish half of the cast would be that straight forward as soon as one of them feels off 🤣😭

Always forget that actors age with this show

Anytime they show clips from season 1 in the later seasons, I’m always so surprised how young everyone looks. Especially Miranda and Meredith 😭🤣

JFK and Jackie

I hadn’t heard the story about this. Other than he was shot but watching the documentary now on Disney+, I’ve realised that there aren’t any celebrity couples that are admired the way they were. Yes, it’s probably the rise of social media and other things but I can’t think of one celebrity couple in the last 5-10 years that have been admired like them.

S18 - Meredith’s relationship with the guy that lives in Minnesota (idk his name)

Sorry but this has been bothering me ever since he came on the scene - the way he expects Meredith to abandon her kids all the time but Meredith is literally never home and acts like her kids are so important but then changes up and considers having them move to Minnesota for this guy?

Amelia Shepard S18

I’m not saying that Amelia shouldn’t express who she is when it comes to relationships but the way she comes across as such a bitch when Link tries to communicate how hurt he is that he saw her kissing the woman in the parking lot by correcting him by saying “That person is non-binary” when he’s clearly trying to talk it out and get an explanation or at least express how betrayed he feels. Idk but she did come across as a bitch 🤷🏻‍♀️

The Webber method

I agreed with Bailey being apprehensive about the idea but wasn’t taken seriously bc his wife is Catherine Fox. And then Schmidt gets an ego all of a sudden and kills someone bc Webber didn’t answer the page and again, Schmidt keeps going even though he was told not to? 💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️💆🏻‍♀️

Lindsay Clancy

As a woman, I can see this case from both sides. An awful, heartbreaking crime committed by a mother. However, I fully believe the doctors and nurses were completely at fault for what happened. Adding more meds before evaluating what it could mean for her when she’s already spiralling and not taking a look at her previous meds and simply putting her dosages up to see if it helps? Sorry, from what I’ve heard the US healthcare sounds ridiculous and lacks a lot of policies

Bryan Kohberger

Can someone clarify whether the plea that was accepted by the court for revision (I saw on tt but may have been accepted yesterday) that Kohberger claims his innocence and wants a trial, whether this means there is a high chance of this case being opened up again and therefore, a full trial will happen?

Impulsive Avery

Can’t tell you how annoying his impulsive decisions are. Shotgun wedding. Relationship with Vic. Asking April to move to Boston so that he can run the foundation and he can see Harriette. He would be such an annoying person 😭🤣

Final thoughts on the Idaho Murder documentary? Heartbreaking and overall a very frustrating end to a tragedy.

However, the most frustrating thing was the plea deal. As the families stated “he shouldn’t be given these choices” and I 100% agree. I think it was a stupid decision as well as heartbreaking for the families.

He should have had to tell them the “Why” and not been given the opportunity to have the last piece of the tragedy be dangled and then taken away from the parents.

I just think the plea deal shouldn’t have happened and should never have been an option.

The Idaho Murders documentary

A heartbreaking story overall and I can’t begin to think how difficult this was for the families to film and have to relive the horrors.

I started watching this tonight and I have fears about Kaylee’s ex boyfriend not being on the documentary, especially after the way the internet came for him so viciously.

I also forgot it took the police ages to get the suspect but I also found it really refreshing to see how hard they went on to get the guy, like I had no idea you got FBI car identity specialists.

Edit: have now concluded that 6.5 weeks for a murder investigation isn’t long at all but the documentary made it seem like it took longer to catch him

Paul Wesley interview

This interview is one of my favourites because I love that Paul Wesley and Ian Somerhalder are bffs in real life and it just makes me so happy that they are genuinely so close 🥹

Jealousy leading to grieving

I have been living with this disease since I was 17 years old and now at 29, I have noticed a difference in my mobility and fatigue levels. Why at 29 am I grieving the days where I could run up and down the stairs or take steps two at a time or not require a bannister to help me walk up the stairs? And why am I so jealous of people who do it so easily? It just seems so unfair that at 29, I have to feel this way 🙃

How do I approach a difficult conversation with my bf? F/29 M/29

I’ve never been able to have serious conversations - it’s just something I’ve never been good at - I always make jokes or find some way to take the seriousness out of it. However, my boyfriend and I have been having financial difficulties lately and only recently it’s gotten too out of control.

I want to sit down and discuss the main issues but every time I do, I rush it and then drop it but then I just sit and think about it over again. How can I bring it up and be proactive about moving on so that it’s behind us and we can get back to normalcy?
