By that I mean how do you see and think of them as a person, including their backstories, nationalities, etc. just anything you could make up about what makes them stand out rather than them being iconic animals.

For me personally:

Freddy's a Eurasian Brown Bear, specifically from Germany. However, since he was in America for so long he lost his German accent but can still speak fluent German. He'd be the cheerful but also kind of gentle giant between him and the two, Bonnie and Chica. Freddy's a showman type of guy, like what you'd see from those tv show hosts. He is also Fredbear's distant nephew but, because of the Big Bite, Fredbear was retconned to never have existed.

Bonnie is a giant chinchilla rabbit who at a young age was exposed to dye chemicals at a young age that... changed his fur into purple. No powers, the chemicals just changed his natural fur color. As I saw from the Security Breach cartoon episodes, seems like a lax go with the flow. In my eyes, I'd see him as a rocker hippie. Yes, he's a vegan. He relatively enjoys the kind of rock that Elvis Presley is most famous for, which you could hear it in his performances, whereas he's not fond of heavy metal rock. Despite his chubby appearance (unlike Freddy's who bigger), Bonnie is pretty agile and surprisingly has more power using his feet. He's also a fan of the Rolling Stones and the Beatles. Fazbear Ent. doesn't say it outright but there's subtle implications Bonnie is a stoner.

Chica was born from a mix between a chicken and a duck, hence why she has a more thick and round beak. She was born in New Mexico as her parents were real top of the art chefs of a popular restaurant. Chica's got an interest in puppeteering as evident with her Carl the Cupcake. Yes, she has a southern accent. Chica is both a cook and also a gourmand like Shaggy, though she'd often leave some for the gang to eat. As for Toy Chica's depiction, we can say at first, the lore would be that was how she wanted to look around her college years but as she grew older and with how cool her friends are, she got more comfortable to let loose her true traits.

Foxy is a red fox from Germany, albeit from the time that pirates were at an all time high and were up against the British Empire or any navy that was deployed to combat them. Foxy, in the Freddy Gang universe lore, was a notorious and ruthless pirate captain, like your typical Disney Villain type of pirate. At one point, he found a precious artifact he believed would give him more power and money, only for it to teleport him into the future. Surprisingly, in this new modern world he is not familiar with, he took his time to learn and adapt so he could do his evil schemes, which then created a type of Team Rocket dynamic between himself and the Freddy Gang. Foxy really likes parrots that one of his personal goals was to collect every one of parrots in the world.

Mangle or Funtime Foxy is actually Foxy's descendant, so yes she is also German. Their lore is that when she was still in his mother's womb, Mangle's mom escaped to America with the help of some friends to avoid what was happening with Germany's new leader. Mangle's father stayed behind to be part of that cruel leader. Anyway, Mangle was interested in performing as an actor but she wanted to go far up in the lengths as an actor. He actually took the time to learn and master the art of impersonating other's voices, so much so that Mangle deliberately hides their true gender but comes off as gender-fluid. Although she and Foxy are related by blood, he does not want to join Foxy no matter how many deals or offerings he gives them.

These triangular houses from Iceland are simple but also very neat looking. The grass for the roof isn't actually just for looks, turns out the Icelanders figured out they can provide insulation for their homes and therefore, that is why these houses always have grass on top.

For me, it does look simple but also kind of charming in a way, like you can appreciate how people from long ago were able to come up with ways to live comfortably in ancient/medieval times.
