Can’t decide which shield to buy. Difficult when you can’t see them in person. The first seems more flashy, the second looks more like a magic card. In Europe they are the same price whereas in the US the first version seems to be going for double. Curious to read your opinions!
Looking for advice on one of my pet decks: rasaad and candlekeep sage. An unusual and equally underestimated combo. There’s a lot of other blink and toughness matters commanders out there, but none that quite try to fit the two themes together like these two. Since toughness matters commanders are usually removal magnets, drawing cards from rasaad leaving the battlefield is great insurance. Even better is that any flicker effect allows us to draw 2, turning spot removal into a three for one if we have cloudshift or the like.
The main challenge I am having at the moment is balancing the themes of flicker and toughness matters. The deck really needs more blink targets and I’m trying to avoid creatures with power greater than 3.
Do you have any suggestions on what to add or cut?

Among my 16 decks I run the soul stone in 1 and plan on playing the mind stone in 3 decks. Might be biased here so I’m curious which one you think is better?
I ranked my personal favorite art/style of each shock land. The best one is the large image on the left side.
Are you an OG purist? Do you prefer the expeditions or drool at the sight of flashy galaxies? Or are you like me and have a different favorite of each and maybe a single all time favorite? I’m crazy about the galaxy temple garden.
Please don’t hate in the comments because I didn’t use the retro versions. I started in Ravnica and only own the modern framed OGs. If you prefer retro, just pretend that they are ;)
Full disclosure: galaxy foils are my favorite treatment in mtg. With the exception of galaxy foils I usually go for the nostalgic OG versions. Started switching half of my shock lands from zendikar expeditions to galaxy foils (depending on the aesthetic of the deck). I’m just unsure about the purple ancient tomb. Is it ugly or am I crazy? If you have another favorite ancient tomb, feel free to comment :-)
By far my favorite deck, is Toggo and Ardenn Boros Equipments Voltron/Landfall. Since I’m trying to put as many galaxy foils in the deck as possible I was thinking of buying a beautiful inventor’s fair. But the version is quite expensive and I’ve never played the land. So I’m trying to figure out whether it would be a good fit.
Usually I’m already strapped for mana. The one life doesn’t seem necessary and after tutoring for an equipment I still need to cast and equip it. More importantly I would have to cut mycosynth gardens or another valuable utility land for it.
Do you think inventor’s fair would work well in this deck?
And which utility land would you cut for it?

I had Verrak, warped and exquisite archangel in play along with a marsh flats.
With only 1 life, I sacrificed the marsh flats, which triggered the exquisite archangel to put me back to 40 life.
Am I able to pay another life to copy the marsh flats ability with Verrak leaving me with 39 life? Or is the order of triggers different?
This happened in game. Would appreciate any insight you have.
