My previous posts on this was removed so here we are again. The Vengeance trilogy is my favourite trilogy of all time. Severely underrated and it was what got me into Korean cinema.

My personal favourite of the three is Sympathy for Mr Vengeance. The themes in the movie revolves around vengeance, grief and class inequality. Like many of his movies, Park Chan-Wook layers this movies with dark comedy and violence. The plots keeps throwing twists to keep you on your toes.

On a side note my favourite scene in all of cinema is from the Vengeance trilogy. It's the corridor fight scene in Oldboy. You know which one I'm talking about.
