Here is the scenario

I drop a 1 Minute Video on the timeline.

I drop a 3 minute audio below it. This is the main audio clip that will. Stay.

Now i want 5 seconds from the Video clip somewhere from the middle.

I delete the starting portion of the video.

And ....

The audio also gets deleted...why because the connection point at the start...

I mean why .....

Now to keep the audio and the 5 seconds video is a task in itself. Any software... literally doesn't make it that hard ....

And they all also have magnetic timeline so please don't point out the magnetic timeline.

I am paying Apple subscription for 3 months. Still using Capcut. I am so disappointed that Apple has made FCP unusable for intermediate creators.

How can I clone my existing Nuvio account to a new one. Everything should get transferred - all the profiles, their collections, addons, plugins and the API keys.

Basically both accounts should be the same.

Is that possible? Any tool. Please share.

I have installed the Universal version.

1. the trailers don't play when we scroll over the titles. I can't find the settings Also

2. when logging in first time for each profile it asked the view like grid relaxed and classic. How can we change that afterwards....

3. App icon not showing in fire TV stick. An empty box.

4. Does Alexa voice search work inside the app or will it take me to the native app for that platform.

Hi how can I import and pull content recommendations country specific. So I want my feed to show only movies and series only specific to India Other language and global content should not be shown or atleast should not be prioritized and recommended. Can be there if i search for it.

I am trying to use Pr on my new 13 inch Macbook Air and it's almost impossible. No matter the screen layout getting everything placed is difficult. There is no proper working space for the timeline. I can only have a single line view of the timeline which makes it extremely annoying. FCP I am able to have a much better layout and view.

How to use Pr. Or is it like this for this screen size?

First of all, I fully admit that Final Cut Pro is a far more powerful and professional tool than CapCut. This isn't a "CapCut vs FCP" battle. It's just my personal experience after making the switch.

Back when I was on Windows, I used to watch FCP videos and wish I had access to it. My laptop struggled with Premiere Pro, so Final Cut seemed like this dream editor that would solve everything once I got a Mac.

A month ago, I finally got a MacBook. I installed both Final Cut Pro and Premiere Pro, excited to start editing like the pros.

And then something unexpected happened.

I realized just how good CapCut actually is.

For the kind of content I create, CapCut lets me get things done ridiculously fast. A lot of tasks that take a few clicks in CapCut seem unnecessarily complicated in Final Cut. Sometimes it feels like simple things are made harder because the software is built around professional workflows.

For example, even something as basic as adding a colored background behind text felt way more intuitive in CapCut.

Now, before the FCP experts come after me, I know there are things Final Cut can do that CapCut simply can't. Advanced color grading, complex timelines, professional workflows, plugins, and higher-end productions. No argument there.

But honestly, that probably applies to only about 10% of my editing needs.

The other 90%? CapCut gets it done faster and with less friction.

So if you're thinking of buying a Mac just for Final Cut Pro, my advice would be: don't assume you need it just because the pros use it. Think about the kind of videos you actually make.

If you're doing high-end commercial work, filmmaking, or advanced editing, Final Cut is incredible.

If you're mostly creating YouTube videos, reels, tutorials, or social content, you might be surprised by how advanced Capcut has got over the years And how far it can take you.

That's been my experience so far.

(Yes, I'll still continue to use FCP for side projects or few projects).

I have searched a lot but am unable to find. They all talk about zooming the timeline (project). I want to zoom the preview panel. I know there is drop-down with options like 25-50-100% or fit). But isn't there a faster easier way? Like for the timeline we can pinch in and out in the trackpad. How to do that for the preview window. Again the window size will be the same as the video preview should get bigger and smaller.

Okay so i recently started using (rather trying to upgrade myself from Capcut) and I was surprised that i couldn't find the option to add a background to text. I searched on YT and didn't find anything.

Yes we can add an element or box seperately but is it really true we cannot add background directly (which is like a basic feature in all free tools)

I was also unable to use Transform on text. I mean i wanted to decrease the width of the box so the sentence comes in in four lines from original two lines. Gues that also didn't happen and had to manually hit return key to break the sentence.

Looking for guidance from the community. I really want to shift to FCP as my primary tool. From Capcut. I chose FCP because Premiere feels really intimidating and overwhelming.

So the thing is. I bought my first ever MBA four months ago. And as all newbies was obsessed about battery management. I installed Aldente to keep the battery at 80%.

I removed it and installed Battery toolkit for the same purpose.

When Tahoe itself came with a battery limiter i removed battery toolkit.

I set Apple battery limiter to 80%.

Now one day i wanted to charge it to 100%. Only to realise it just wouldn't. Even after disabling the battery limiter.

Is it OS optimisation. Because yes my majority usage is plugged in. But i don't know.

Also as you know Default Mac charger led is amber while charging and green when charged (and no blinking option).

But Aldente and Battery toolkit makes it amber blinking while charging. Solid amber when charging on hold. And Green when 100%. But even when none of these tools my battery charging is amber blinking till 80%. And obviously it's not going above 80.

Apart from it no problem in charging or performance.

So what's going on. How can I fix and reset the battery management to how it comes originally.

Hey can you please share some unknown gems and hidden websites where assets (VFX, SFX, templates) are available for free to download.

And not websites like Mixkit etc which are pretty basic.
