25 years old, follow up arterial scan on right leg, plaque found, even with favourable bloods etc

Hi all,
I posted the other day about having a leg artery scan a year ago that showed “negligible and calcific” plaque in my popliteal and femoral arteries in my right leg.
I am 6 foot 4 inches tall, 205 pounds, I do about 200-250 minutes of cardio a week, I eat a med diet, I weight train, I have low body fat. Along with this I have very favourable ApoB, LPa and lipids. I have had a carotid ultrasound which showed no plaque burden, no wall thickening etc.

I am going to post the report from the most recent scan below and I’d just like peoples opinion on it. I’m worried I have athelerosclerosis. I am worried for what comes next. Any help appreciated

Favourable cholesterol and ApoB, LPa but plaque found in leg artery

Hi all,
Out of curiosity that I’m posting this; I’ve been having leg pain intermittently for a while now, so I went to get an ultrasound. In the leg artery “negligible and calcific” plaque was found in my right leg artery, with triphasic flow and no stenosis.
After this, the sonographer looked at my carotids out of curiosity, something about a correlation between carotids and coronary arteries being observed. Absolute zero plaque found in carotids.
This led me to get my lipids done, plus ApoB and LPa. My levels were perfect (ApoB and LPa were below 0.5. I am in the UK so unit of measure may be different in US). Other lipids were also very favourable, triglycerides very low, etc).
All this to say, at 25 years old, as someone who is very fit and active (5 km in 18 minutes, 10 km in 39 minutes, low resting heart rate, 100 kg at 6 foot 4 inches tall) how worried should I be?
Any help and expertise from those knowledgeable is appreciated

Water drop RO K19 countertop unit failing to set up

Hi everyone,
Just got the Waterdrop RO 5 litre tank unit; followed set up exactly.
- removed all plastic caps from components
- inserted filter correctly, twisting and pushing into place.
- filled tank with water
- Held the filter button for a refresh, which should start automatic flush process.
Instead of automatic flush starting screen is just such showing “L1” notification which denotes using new water along with saying “flush” in red lettering. No noises or pump sounds coming from the machine.
Tried turning it off and back on again, removing and reinserting filter etc.
Really annoyed and confused because I’d heard good things about this unit.
Any help appreciated

Need help an advice after quitting

Hey all,
I’ll try explain this as succinctly as possible; I quit using snus for the first time on the 7th January 2026. Felt good for the first three weeks, then the most insane intrusive thoughts come in. They weren’t specific, more like just constantly being worried about if I was going to go crazy etc. These subsided for the most part by about day 60 of the quit.
For some unknown reason, I decided to then start using again. I was using for just over a month, then decided to quit once more. This is where I’m at right now; nearly a month in, and the intrusive thoughts are terrifying me. I was on Instagram and I saw a video about Covid vaccine side effects for example (stupidly I got two doses), and then all I could think about was “what if the vaccine is sending me psychotic?” The thoughts are specific about hurting anyone, I more just feel flat, and scared I’m losing my marbles.
For reference I was using 6-7 12 mg pouches a day, don’t know if that’s considered low, medium or high level usage.
Any help would be massively appreciated, just to know I’m not alone,
Thanks

Ten days post surgery; worried it’s been unsuccessful

Hi all,
I had a septoplasty with turbinate reduction that lasted nearly 3 hours; I had a near complete blockage from deviation due to a broken nose that had set wrong in 2022. At my pre op when they look up there, the doctor couldn’t believe how bad it was.
I went under and the surgery went well according to the doctors.
I wasn’t in a crazy amount of pain in recovery, the worst thing was not breathing but thag only lasted for three to four days until all dissolvable packing had come out.
Now I can see a gap all the way up my right nostril, but it’s not as big as I would’ve thought. I’ve been feeling my septum as well and it still feels very bowed, as if it’s still deviated. I am very scared it’s just going to go back to how it was before.
I’ll attach an image below so you can see my septum. Any advice or help would be appreciated. Post op isn’t for another 4 weeks.

How likely is it for you to have been vaccinated whilst out for surgery?

Hi,
I had two of the Covid vaccines (massive regret for me due to health issues it caused, that’s no surprise to a lot of people now). Went in for a septoplasty this week, and I am freaking out that they put the vaccine in you whilst you sleep. Honestly at this point I wouldn’t put it past our healthcare system in the UK and it has me freaked out.
Can anyone put my mind at ease?
Thanks

Hi,
Had surgery yesterday then noticed this raised smooth red spot on my shoulder; I thought it looked like ringworm or staph infection but I’m not sure.

Any help appreciated

Hi all,
I am a 24 year old male, and I had a corrective septoplasty yesterday for a bad nose break that meant I had zero use of my right nostril.
I had the surgery, I got dissolvable packing inside, and I was prescribed antibiotics, which I’d never heard about taking antibiotics pre-emptively of an infection.
I understand the rise of antibiotic resistance, and also there are side effects that come with all antibiotics. I got prescribed Co-Amoxiclav.
Can anyone give me their experience please,
Thanks
