I’ve always wanted to have a virtual pet that could live on my desktop, so we started making one. 😊
We’re developing a fun virtual pet desktop game where you can raise your pet and set up a farm.
We’re gradually adding small details; here’s what we’ve added recently:
• Full 360° rotation so you can examine the device from every angle.
• Functional buttons.
• A removable back cover so you can change the batteries.
We also plan to add main units in different colors and decorative accessories.
I’d love to hear your thoughts. 🌸👾
Now you can press the buttons, rotate the device however you like, and examine it from every angle
We're planning to add different colors and accessories too.
It might seem like a small feature, but I think these little details make a big difference. 😊
A 360° view feature has been added... and yes, you can also replace the battery. 😊
We've been working on making the device feel more like something you'd actually own.
You can now rotate it freely instead of only dragging it around, inspect it from every angle, and even open the back cover to replace the battery.
Which one would you pick? Short chain or long chain? 👀
We’re developing a fun virtual pet desktop game where you can raise your pet, set up a small farm, work at various jobs, and decorate your home.
Right now, I’m stuck on a very minor design detail.
I can’t decide whether to use a short chain or a long chain for the keychain charm. The charm itself isn’t finalized yet; there will be different charm designs as well.
I’ve added a short video so you can see what it looks like.
How would you market a desktop corner game? I'm honestly not sure where to start.
Hello, everyone!
My friend and I are developing a desktop virtual pet game, and I’ve realized I have absolutely no idea how games like this are typically marketed.
In the game, you raise your virtual pet, set up a small farm, do various jobs to earn money, and decorate your home
I really love playing casual desktop games, but I’ve never paid attention to how they’re marketed or how people discover them.
If you were in my shoes, where would you start?
What kind of content would you share?
Which platforms would you focus on?
Are there any desktop games that have been really successful in terms of marketing?
I’d be very grateful for any advice or examples. Thanks! 🌸💟
Been working on the unboxing for our virtual pet game. It's still very early, but we're trying to capture that feeling of opening a brand-new virtual pet.
Would you make the screen bigger, or does this size feel right?
We're making a cozy desktop virtual pet game where you raise your pet, build a farm, work different jobs, and decorate your home. We'd love to hear your thoughts on the device's screen size.
