20M Just got myself into film photography!

Every time I go into my local lab to get my scans in I always wonder how the consumers photography experience is like! How long have you been shooting for and where is your favorite place to shoot! [Product Request] What can help me in this instance? Is it fungal?

I've been working a lot in the sun recently and around a month ago, this began appearing on my left arm and recently began accelerating! Is it versicolor? Or something worse. Please reach out! I've been on other subs and nobody is reaching out. From what I could summarize and have been doing because I'd rather to than not take action has been adding fungal cream twice a day very recently to reduce itching and to not keep it dry constantly.

Volume knob crackle. Need advice! (Sterling MusicM Stingray)

I haven’t touched my bass guitar in MONTHS and i’ve been having the urge to pick it up and give it the attention it deserves! It has slowly been sitting collecting dust & I would pick it up sometimes to ensure that everything worked as intended and recently my volume knob is crackles lightly when I adjust my | volume and i'd like to know what could be the issue. I've been making some research and i've come down to two things. Either clean it out in hopes that the debris gets out and works again, or replace that knob.
And if I needed to replace it if that didn't work would it be okay to replace that ONE knob or all of them entirely?

(Also there is a rod soldered to the bottom of the pot from one of the wires, what is that-)
