I feel like NASM is just a big scam. My personal trainer cert expired in December. Around that time I got an email with a “deal” to recertify. Never did- now my cert has been expired for 6 months and I emailed the contact from December. He said I can recertify for the next four years for ~$350. Now he’s been calling me and leaving messages about how my grace period is overdue and so I should act now, basically.

It’s so sales-pitchy and I just need to know what’s real- what are my actual options and what is the policy. It seems like they just want money so it doesn’t really matter when I renew. I just don’t want to have to pay more than I should.

Heads up: ASC Engineered Solutions in Columbia reports an EPA RSEI score around 3,000 (down from ~17,000 in 2013) vs a county median ~70.
Reported TRI releases include lead, manganese, zinc compounds, and diisocyanates, entering groundwater, Shawnee Run/Susquehanna.
Relative to other school districts, Columbia borough is a smaller, lower-income community.
Given the elevated relative risk and setting, this may warrant closer DEP Environmental Justice review and more local water monitoring.

When I massage my head, move my hair, or put my hair up in a bun my hair hurts! I don’t understand why. I tried to massage my scalp more so that the follicles would get used to the movement. Does this happen to anyone else?
