As yall can see the stringing was pretty bad, though the prints I’ve done before with this exact filament turned out pretty good? They were on a larger scale, I’ll provide a pic below, so I was curious if there were any other reasons for these defects besides my filament not being dry enough. If there’s other settings to look at that would help figure it out just let me know

Just wanted to make a post discussing an idea I had, so here we go

First of all, I hope yall enjoy my photoshop (no AI) mock-up of a scheme I wanted to try out when I finally start painting🙂‍↕️ What I’m gonna try and go for is basically a scheme heavily inspired by the dark furies, just with some modern chapter heraldry like the white veteran arms. The corvid pattern jump pack was pretty easy to add into the picture, but since I don’t use photoshop very often yall are gonna have to use some imagination: I really want to add the Mor Deythan shoulder pad on the left so that they can display the Crux Terminatus on the right, I felt like that was a good balance to pay homage to the dark furies while still retaining modern 40K veteran honors.

Second thing I’m gonna go for that I didn’t add on, I’ll probably be using the skull and feathers from the upgrade sprue instead of gold/silver reliquaries, though that could be subject to change. I just really like the really dark motifs of the furies and I want to maintain that idea of being mostly shadow and darkness (despite the obviously white arms, but they’ll be matching with Shrike so it’s okay).

Thirdly, good chance I’m gonna shave off at least two of the aquilas to tie back to the dark fury armor, as well as to make room for grenades/pouches. I’ll probably throw XIX on one of their chests js because I think it’ll look cool, and of course the chapter insignia and raven skull transfers on the shin plates.

I will also be using as many beakies as I can get my hands on😮‍💨

In all honesty I just wanted an excuse to post my picture and talk about painting lmao, I hope this post could inspire a couple of yalls VV designs, I’d appreciate any feedback or extra ideas yall have

I definitely started painting the lightning arcs early, probably gonna add a couple more wires to really sell it

I’ve been reading through some of these changes in the new drop and a couple of them seem just outright wrong, like I know for a fact paired combat blades were already AP -1, among other “changes” and don’t look any different. I would really appreciate if someone could point out what I’m missing or let me know if you’re equally confused
