Shapiro vs Shapiro

In case you’re wondering what’s happening with the latest Data Center FUD, here’s why. The same guy is in both pictures.

NBIS will still prevail. This is actually bullish as it will wean out the weaker companies.

Birmingham lawsuit news

More good news for NBIS.

TL/DR: the judge denied halting construction

Jefferson County Circuit Judge Javan Patton Crayton ruled after a brief hearing on Wednesday morning that the case’s motions can consolidate and proceed to a non-jury trial scheduled for March 8, 2027.

“By agreement of all parties, Plaintiff’s Motion is hereby granted,” Judge Crayton wrote in the ruling.

In the meantime, the parties will meet for a status conference on Aug. 27.

Pro tip to the newbies

If you can’t handle +/- 10% moves in a day, this isn’t the stock for you.

If you understand this chart, you buy the dips, ignore the noise (that includes Burry) and look long term.

Happy Friday

Thank you Boston!

WOWWWWWW is all I have to say about the Sapphire Lounge. I thought JFK was the bomb. Boston puts it to shame.

Clam Chowder, tomato with burrata, tons of high end choices…smooth check-in too.

And it was huge and beautiful. And free luggage tags!!! I’ll be back 🙌🏼

SUCCESS with Chase Travel price match

Edit: SORRY, I DIDN’T MEAN TO FLEX AND DIDN’T REALIZE PRICE MATCH WASN’T AVAILABLE TO ALL CSR HOLDERS 😔

Level of difficulty: 1/10

Got a response within 3 hours

Thats a free $131 PLUS all of The Edit benefits. Also, I’m IHG Diamond Elite Ambassador so I’ll be getting upgraded to a suite.

I love this card and all of the benefits associated with it. Call me crazy.

Decided to join Ambassador

I was hesitant at first looking at all of the specifics, but after accumulating 260K points, already having diamond elite status, and only costing 45K points to join, it seemed like a no-brainer.

This summer alone, we’re staying at five different Intercontinental properties throughout Europe. If I book the premium rooms, it seems almost certain we will get upgraded to a suite. Their language seems pretty specific for category upgrades as opposed to lateral same category upgrades like higher floor, etc.

I successfully used the free weekend for one night at Intercontinental Lisbon. Looking at their different rooms after researching, it also seems like the premium room there is a gigantic size upgrade from the classic room. When booking on the IHG app, the upgrade for that room alone was over €600.

Maybe we’ll roll the dice and try the Intercontinental Le Grand in Paris later this year lol. I do have a brand new Chase Sapphire Reserve card to use with two edit stays and all of those credits at my fingertips…

I’ll update once I see if it was indeed worth it. Any good or bad experiences, feel free to chime in!

Any experienced Chase users have a prediction how long offers like the latest CSR 150k points ***usually last for?

Sometimes they say “until ____” but I can’t see any language on this offer after quick search.

What’s your best guess? TIA

***EDIT*** If you ever see “Rate Unavailable”, simply CLICK on those words and the “new rates” will re-populate. It DOESN’T mean the hotel is sold out and/or not participating in Chase Travel anymore. Thank you for the heads up!!

After having the exact days & points screenshotted for July stay at IHG Madrid, I keep getting “rate no longer available” error when trying to book ANY days. I tried random dates from now through December. See pics from last month vs today.

I was waiting for my new points to post to book it so I could max them out and get $250 The Edit credit on the leftover cash payment.

Can anyone concur? Do hotels come and go from Chase Travel or is this the death knell for IHG Madrid?
