Tried eggs with 9 different herbs

Tried eggs with salt separately with rosemary, sage, thyme, oregano, basil, Thai basil, chives, lavender and dill.
The best eggs were: a mix of dill and thyme with a bit of Parmesan cheese and black pepper.. yum!! Cooked in butter and added a splash of whole milk.

Looking for recipes to use these herbs in growing. First time growing anything ever and it’s fun!

Static 11’s (for Dysport today)

I went in for a deep “1” almost “11” between my eyebrows and the injector told me my “1” is static and cannot be treated with dysport. I was so sad! I still got 50 units because she said it will prevent it from getting worse.
Question: does anyone know what I can do to totally remove this deep static line??

Pants for short and not slim

Any brand recommendations for work pants (office job) for short people who are not typical sizes? I am 4’11” 155 lbs and size 14 pants, 31” waist and 43” hips. Even if I get my pants hemmed, the pants still don’t look like they are supposed to…
Thanks in advance!

Final cake.. before and after

This is for my (hours away) 6 year old’d party tomorrow! The first 2 pics are the final cake and the last picture is the before/trial cake.
Strawberry with buttercream vanilla icing and pineapple with strawberry icing! It’s a rainbows and donuts pool party.

Now how in the world do I cover it without ruining the icing???

Update: left overnight, the pink cake on top fell into 4 pieces and I could not recover it ! So I put half together with the white one and it ended up working out. I suppose if it were homemade cake and more dense it would’ve held up better.

Got epidural steroid injection today..pain/cost etc

Caudal epidural steroid injection for herniation of L5-S1

So everything I read and everything everyone told me was that the injection wasn’t very painful. LIES!! I have a pretty good tolerance for pain and I was literally screaming and crying in there. It was super quick, less than one minute, so I’m glad it’s over but woah that was crazy. Doctor and nurses said that my area to inject was unusually “tight” which I’m not sure what that means, but they’re confident they got the affected nerves well (L5 & S1 nerves).

When I got home, I took the best 2 hours nap of my life!

Cost- I have Aetna and last week I got a notification on my Aetna app that my injection was approved to cover 80% leaving me to pay $400. I was okay with this because of potential pain relief. Well this morning I learn my insurance RETRACTED THE APPROVAL last minute!! They are the worrsstt. Well I didn’t want to wait a week to appeal, so I was cash pay. $300 to doctor and $500 to hospital. Hence the reason for no IV pain meds or special treatment.

Recovery- I am not to drive for 24 hours and take it easy for the next week. Rest but also making sure to walk around and don’t lay down all day. Drink lots of fluids. Drink caffeine to avoid the headache side effect of the shot. I took tomorrow off work and I’m back to work the next day.
Doctor says the steroids are doing their work on my nerves and I should feel the benefits on day 4+ they did not mention that it’s possible for it to not work at all, so I’m sticking to that positivity.

Any questions, let me know. I know that I had many unanswered questions so I’m here to help anyone.

I will update on day 4 or 5 and then again a week later and soon for reference.

Update 1: Day 2: pain is worse right now 24 hours later than it was before I went in, but one difference is Painquil pm versus Hydrocodone. I’m filling my prescription later today.

Need advice for rail bumper

Hi, my daughter has this bed except I cut the top off and got rid of the bottom. She sleeps crazy and I want to cover the wooden rails with a soft cloth. Does anyone have any advice for someone who is a beginner? I have a sewing machine but the only thing I know how to do is hem jeans.

I could pay someone to custom make one also but I’m not sure where to go or what it would even be called.

MRI.. what am I looking at?

Can anyone tell me what these photos are showing, if anything significant? I know the photo #1 is the herniation, but I don’t know the others or if they matter. Also, does my herniation look bad? I know it feels excruciating and this was almost 2 months ago and it’s gotten worse, but I’m wondering how PT can fix something like this? Every time I do any exercises, it makes the pain worse. Thanks in advance for any insight!

Also, what is the white line the disc material is hitting? Is that the nerve?

Surgery/insurance update

I have herniation on L5/S1 and doctor says it’s severe enough that I need a surgery; Laminectomy, Facetecromy and Discetomy. After 4+ months of not sleeping, pain while walking very slowly, extreme pain while sitting and zero sleep, I was excited to be put on the schedule for surgery. My insurance (Aetna) denied coverage right away and then my doctor appealed it citing that I will not benefit from Physical Therapy and they denied it again through the appeal.
So now doctor wants me to go get another MRI from a place his assistant called and told them what my results need to say. They told them the MRI needs to state “severe degradation with severe herniation requiring surgery”

I have tried massages, stretching, chiropractors with decompression, Tens, ice therapy, etc. meloxicam, Journavx, Cyclobenzaprine, hydrocodone (only thing that helps get me 4 hrs of sleep!) 💤 and now I’ve been prescribed Gabapentin but I am scared to take it because I have read bad side effects.

I just want to get the surgery, recover and be back to normal again!

New meds and pain relief

I posted this with the name of the drug, but it got removed because it looked like I was promoting it, which I am but I don’t work for them. So I am removing the name of the drug!

It is only day 1 on this set of meds, but I am feeling hopeful at the moment!

I have bulging disc on L4&5, S1 (I think that’s what doc said) going on 3 months severe pain and can’t sit, drive, sleep or walk without feeling like I’m dying.

Yesterday I started a new round of Prednisone 4 day treatment, upped my anti-inflammatory to 15 mg and started on a new non-opioid pain killer. I feel like my pain yesterday was a 9 and sleep was really difficult as usual, but today my pain is a 3!! I am attributing this all to the new drug because I haven’t taken the anti-inflammatory yet and I just took my first dose of steroids, so it has to be the new one. I still have tingling in my right leg and foot, but the pain is minimal 🙏🙏

I highly recommend asking your doctor about new options for pain!

They will only prescribe 2 weeks worth of this medicine so I am really hoping I can get better before it runs out!

New Meds and New Relief!

It is only day 1 on this set of meds, but I am feeling hopeful at the moment!

I have bulging disc on L4&5, S1 (I think that’s what doc said) going on 3 months severe pain and can’t sit, drive, sleep or walk without feeling like I’m dying.

Yesterday I started a new round of Prednisone 4 day treatment, upped my Meloxicam to 15 mg and started on a new non-opioid pain killer called JOURNAVX. I feel like my pain yesterday was a 9 and sleep was really difficult as usual, but today my pain is a 3!! I am attributing this all to the new drug JOURNAVX because I haven’t taken the meloxicam yet and I just took my first dose of steroids, so it has to be the Journavx. I still have tingling in my right leg and foot, but the pain is minimal 🙏🙏

I highly recommend this medication if: you are not pregnant and do not ever want to be pregnant, you do not have any kidney or heart or liver issues or blood pressure issues and you can take it on an empty stomach every 12 hours.

They will only prescribe 2 weeks worth of this medicine so I am really hoping I can get better before it runs out!
