Sorry to anyone who likes this Ep, I did too, but I cannot excuse how bad Four's "Arc" is that episode, and it all boils down to the lesson he learns, and how it is executed, Plus, it only works for TPOT four BECAUSE OF HOW BADLY IT FUMBLES BFB.

This lesson about "What matters is that we stayed" works on paper, but NOT when you're trying to forgive a horrible person who everyone on TPOT had the RIGHT to abandon, they forget the EXIT exists, they also do not give Four any reason to change how they treat others other than the BFBers because "They stayed and that's what matters".

So yeah, TPOT Four onwards is a solid direction but it's completely supported by how badly it was fumbled in the past, and basically made a reasonable regression of Four's character.
