Wait time fee was $0.50 a minute not too long ago and looks like they slashed it more than half. $0.23 a minute for 60 minutes is $13.80. It makes no economical sense for me to “wait patiently” for passengers when approaching the cancellation fee. Funnily enough, never had to wait no more than 2 minutes for each ride today. Passengers were either waiting outside when I pulled up or coming outside and getting in before 2 minutes. Also, I hate the popups when waiting for passengers now. The passenger knows they ordered a ride, why do I have to message them that I arrived? You put the pickup location on the map and I show up, if you’re not outside in 7 minutes, I’m leaving. I’m not messaging to say that I arrived.

To the majority of PAX who don’t wait till the last minute to get in the car or use an anchor. Nothing to worry about, this will not affect you. To the minority of PAX in this sub that put the pickup location in the wrong/bad area and now expect the driver to drive away from the pickup area to come and get you, doubtful that many drivers will be lenient and allow the timer to stop now, many (including myself) will allow the timer to run down to get the cancellation fee. $0.23 a minute is simply not worth navigating apartment complexes and attempting to navigate congested traffic. Please attempt to put the pickup location where you’re at and be ready to go.

Several thousand miles away from 300,000 miles on 2013 Subaru Outback 6MT. What should be on the list of things to complete for maintenance so I can get this thing to 400,000 miles.

I have a 2013 Subaru Outback, it’s a 6 speed manual transmission and it’s approaching 300,000 miles. I love my car and I drive a lot and I want to know what should I be looking at doing besides the valve cover gasket, PCV valve and spark plugs. I had a new short block installed at 150,000 miles because of faulty piston rings and I take really good care of it and want to drive it till the wheels fall off…….or explodes. It burns about a quart of oil every 3,500-4,000 miles and I haven’t really had much of any trouble with it besides replacing the short block.

Also, does Subarus/Outbacks have issues when installing aftermarket catalytic converters? I had 2 new aftermarket catalytic converters installed (one upstream and one downstream) about 40,000 miles ago with brand new O2 sensors and my check engine light with P0420 comes on for a couple of hundred miles and then it turns off for a couple of times when I fill up gas and then it turns on again. I’m not having any issues regarding fuel/mpg loss or strain on the engine. Is this common issue when installing an aftermarket non OEM Cat?

Thank you in advance for any advice.

I fucking hate upfront pricing.

I would’ve never accepted the trip if I was getting paid $7.xx. It popped up as $10.xx no adjustments were made after I accepted and there is no alternate route to take to the drop off that it would pay cheaper. Fuck upfront pricing, never wanted to get away from the rate card for this bullshit.

Ordering On The App Vs Ordering In Person not even an hour apart.

Haven't ordered on the app (other than chips and guac) in almost 3 years. Today I decided to order on the app, don't ask me why, I have no idea. When I go to pickup my order, it's practically dead, only one other person ordering food, 4 workers and no one waiting for a delivery order, just my own order sitting on the shelf. As soon as I grabbed the bag I knew it didn't feel right, I didn't even have to look inside of it. I ordered full portion of steak and full portion of honey chicken (double meat) - extra pinto - extra pico - extra corn
- sour cream - extra veggies - extra cheese - extra lettuce - brown rice.

So take my bowl and walk to the line and none of the three workers even ask "is everything alright with your order?", they just look at me. I said I wanted to order a bowl to go and the kid that took my order was a really nice kid, he wasn't on the digital line that made my order, I could see him looking at me as I got in line. So I just proceed to order exactly what was on my online bowl order, I didn't ask him to add more,I just read it exactly as it was typed up. When I got to the register I asked who the manager was and the guy said "they aren't here" and gave me the GM's card.
They rang me up for my new bowl and I paid without causing a scene. No one asked if something was wrong with my online order, they saw me take it out of the bag and carry the bowl to the line to make another order. It was mostly kids working so I didn't want to cause a fuss, it's not their fault they probably weren't trained properly.

Very disappointed, I don't really want to complain, l just wish the kid in the digital order line was better trained.

TLDR: Haven't ordered online in almost 3 years. Bad experience last time ordering online and bad experience ordering online this time also. Better to just order in person.

Not driving today. But this is what my Memorial Day 2025 looked like.

Not driving today. Had a really great week last week and last night. No boosts today unlike last year, it looks like last year there was boosts around the city for most of the day. Also, it looks like pay was slightly better by also. Also, for those wondering, I haven’t been a “platinum” driver or any of that nonsense since 2019/2020. I’ve always been the lowest on the totem pole, in regard to tiers or stats. Hope everyone is having a good Memorial Day here in the states, and don’t forget to say a prayer for those that sacrificed their lives for the country.
