Possible Sundowners

Mom is 83. I'm it, no other family. She's in hospital due to a huge scare. The doctor thinks she has Sundowners. I've read up on it. We don't live close, other ends of the country. We never talked about what we should do in bad situations. Now this. She has built a life in Florida for the last 20+ years. She wants to come to me, as she knows me and has been confused about a lot. She's ok in the morning, but starts fading around 2. I've no idea what to do. I can't take care of her and am busy with work and life. If I bring her to me, she loses everything she had there. I'm not sure she would understand the loss. I'm uncertain of how to proceed.

If anyone can offer suggestions I'd gladly hear them.

Putting it in the fridge

I'm new to this and hadn't anticipated how quick it would be ready. I read that you can put it in the fridge to kinda hibernate it. It was in the fridge about a week. I took it back out and it's been about 3 days and I've had no activity start again. I think I killed it with the extended time in the cold. Did I?

Odd Error

I haven't had an problems for a long time with the app. I'm using a 3+. Was there an update to the app? I never use DnD, not that D&D. I am concerned that it still flags this and says my alarms are off. I have never adjusted the settings before. I am going to try a restart of the app and if the doesn't work, my phone.

Ideas would be welcome.

Update: As mentioned and I discovered as well. The app now thinks it's Media. Once I changed that, it seems to be good.

Arming Jackets

I have decided to shelf my gambeson as it's far to warm for summer. I've been looking for an arming jacket and there are tons out there. Can I get some recommendations to find one, please?

Warm weather underarmor

This year I'll be wearing a plate cuirass with chain under. To the Ren Faire. In late July in Wisconsin. I currently have a padded gambeson that I love. But I'm concerned I'm going to be very hot in everything. Should I find a lighter weight arming jacket? For fall and spring, I feel my gambeson would be ideal, especially having worn it more. Surely knights moved away from heavily padded underarmor when in the middle east countries.

What do you wear for underarmor?

My players are planning on going into an enemy camp hard. Their rogue assassin is likely going to sneak in to cause mayhem before the rest roll in. He just asked what it would take to snap an NPC's neck. I told him I have no idea, other then a critical being needed, as the game mechanics are built to handle something like that.

Does anyone have some thoughts on this? I don't just want to say no flat out. The mechanics are not designed for quick kills like that. They'll be attacking a location that is home of a rival party, slightly higher level, with minions. Even the minions will probably be a minimum of level 3.

Edir: Sorry, I didn't state exactly. The PCs will be going into a competition adventuring party's castle. These NPCs were designed awhile ago as the bright and shinny heros. They find artifacts and sell or use them. They currently have 2 that the party needs to complete very complex tasks. Someone has also been giving the PCs a bad name throughout the kingdom. The PCs believe it was these guys, the Emberthorn Concord. It wasn't. This group is as strong as the PCs. I think the rogue figured he'd sneak in and just off them or some of them. That won't happen. Minions I'm entirely good with it though.

The gambeson I have does not have any. It wasn't designed with them. I'm thinking about adding some for my cuirass. I'm a bit reluctant to start cutting into it since I really have no idea what I'm doing. I've got a general idea, but nothing concrete.

Can anyone suggest somewhere to look for instruction on how to make your own?

The campaign I'm running is capable of taking my players beyond 20th. What I just realized, they're currently 17th, is that I have nothing for their classes. My game is entirely homebrew in 5e.

Can I get some ideas as to what to grant them as they ass 20? I have a Warlock, Monk, Sorcerer, Oathbreaker Paladin, and Rogue. TIA.

Is there ever a way to craft arrows beyond Steel? Sure, you can craft ice, fire and lightning. I don't care for those.

I'm looking for a chain shirt or something similar. Went to Kult of Athena and saw this one,

Chainmail Haubergeon – Butted High Tensile Wire Rings

I haven't seen suits referred to as wire rings before. This one is uncoated as well.

Can someone fill me in on wire rings and whether uncoated is good or bad, please?

I was going through my quests and saw the fishing one. I'm trying to shrink my ever growing list. Fishing? I did try it at first, but, I could care less. I do fish IRL, but in game? I'd rather be exploring and getting my ass kicked.

How difficult is it to take care of chainmail? I am starting my armor outfit. I have a gambeson and chest and back plates. I'd like to add a chain shirt or something similar between. I've been here for a bit and watched the comments. I've also had lorica segmentata previously. Plate armor seems heaps easier to take care of then chain.

How do you take care of it so it doesn't look like rubbish?

I've used this one and a couple different Dexcoms. I've also used a pump for many years.

Is anyone actually teaching new users how to use these and what to expect with them? I see a lot a fright about sites and the results after removing them. Are the docs and nurses not instructing people of them when starting? I had my doc go over the pump and site when I started it, decades ago. When I switched to a CGM the nurse showed me what to do with it and offered what to expect. I did have an edge with it for the long time I used the pump.

I'm all about helping folks using these, but there is a fair bit, I feel, that should have been gone over when it was started.
