Every great Far Cry game has an overarching theme to it that permeates through the story and long after the credits roll, Far Cry 2 has many themes of the effects of war and charity. If you had to sum up the theme of Far Cry 2, what would it be?

(THIS IS NOT RAGEBAIT! BEFORE YOU DOWNVOTE READ THE WHOLE THING I PROMISE THIS IS JUST BECAUSE I SEE THE POTENTIAL AND MY OPINION CAN CHANGE!)

I am about 6 hours into 2033 now, I am playing through the series for the first time because 1. It was really cheap and 2. It seemed RIGHT up my alley. I am super disappointed to find out that this game is just a mediocre linear shooter. I expected horror, I expected good characters, I expected actual exploration. Instead I have gotten walking in a straight line and killing humans, boring on-rails turret sections, and some extremely incompetently written characters. You might be like “okay then why are you still playing it?” Because I SEE THE AMAZING POTENTIAL! And from what I can tell, Exodus is exactly the game I’m looking for. But so far there has been one incredible sequence that I ABSOLUTELY LOVED.

The first time you reach the surface you are separated from Bourbon. And once you finally don’t have an NPC yapping in your ear and telling you everything and you are finally free to roam the ruins of Moscow, sneaking around, exploring the buildings, avoiding enemies, and ESPECIALLY the psychological horror aspects were incredible. I absolutely loved it. But after about 20 minutes…it was over. I thought this section was a taste of things to come but here I am FOUR HOURS LATER and nothing like it has happened since. The last thing I did was bring the unbelievably annoying little kid back to his home. I felt like sharing my disappointment and I wanted to ask what the overall consensus is about the series. Do other people think this? Do people think Last Light is better? Do I have more of that fleeting greatness to look forward to? Let me know, I’m for sure finishing the game though, I’m hoping for another great moment.

Pretty self explanatory, I want to be able to play carnivores and ice age on my MacBook. I found mediafire downloads for the games but will they run on a Mac?

lemonloader and melonloader are both exclusively windows apps, is there any way for me to do this that doesn't involve fiddling around on my quest? I would much rather install stuff using a computer.

Everything in the game works as intended, the only issue is that I want to use my gaze to select things on the menus like my inventory but it just doesn't work, whenever I open up a menu my cursor just disappeared and I can't look at things to select them. Is there a fix for this? I looked through the in game settings and found no fix.

EDIT: The gaze oriented cursor works when I press the oculus button and wait for a second, then when I enter the game (if I am in a menu already) then the cursor works as intended. THE ISSUE IS the second I close that menu it is back to being broken again. And I cant just exit to the oculus menu every time I open up a menu in game. This info might help though.

I am a member currently a student at BYU Idaho, and these questions really get me, these are the two big questions I have and I’m just wondering if you guys have answers.

Also my girlfriend of 2 years is not a member and has many questions like this. We want to get married and she wants to convert, but these are the types of things she will ask and I have no clue how to answer.
