Could it be possible to complete the game without using the gacha system?

I went through the list of Blades you can recruit without needing to pull on core crystals, and I tallied up their field skill totals. This includes all the main story Blades, Blades that can be recruited outside of the gacha, (Wulfric, Vess, Praxis, Sheba, Kasandra, Herald and Theory), Crosette, Corvin and both MOMO forms. I'm not including Poppibuster due to needing common Blades for its quest, and I'm also not including the Land of Challenge guests, since they require endgame builds to recruit. (Elma especially)

Anyway, the numbers are:

  • Fire Mastery: 6
  • Water Mastery: 12
  • Wind Mastery: 3
  • Ice Mastery: 3
  • Electric Mastery: 6
  • Earth Mastery: 5
  • Dark Mastery: 3
  • Light Mastery: 11
  • Focus: 14
  • Lockpicking: 12
  • Fortitude: 14
  • Ancient Wisdom: 15
  • Leaping: 6
  • Nopon Wisdom: 9
  • Superstrength: 16
  • Keen Eye: 6
  • Ichthyology: 3
  • Forestry: 12
  • Agronomy: 9
  • Botany: 3
  • Mineralogy: 3
  • Salvaging Mastery: 3
  • Girls' Talk: 14

With these numbers, would it be possible to clear the main story and all the field skill checks it gives?

PSA: MOMO's element orb passive applies to the entire party, and not just her.

Dughall gained an earth orb after being hit by Poppi's special, despite it not being the third in the chain. Looks like it applies as long as MOMO is active.

Malwarebytes started sending this email every other day after I updated my card details...

My old debit card recently expired, and I got an email telling me to update my details, which I did last week with my new card. But since then, I've been sent this same email every few days talking about a failed purchase, despite the fact I haven't made a purchase with the updated card yet. The next subscription payment isn't even until next month.

How can I stop this?

I just finished a Mono-Normal run of the game!

This was a fun playthrough, and this team ended up being way better than I expected. They all pulled their weight in the base game, but Staraptor and Dudunsparce were the real stars. And all of them really shone in Indigo Disc, with the battle against Drayton being one of the most fun battles I've had in a while.

My LEGO Great Fox. I put this together as a kid, and it's always had a place in my room all these years later.
