On August 1, 2026, an intense storm dumped so much hail across parts of Mexico City that streets were left looking like they had been buried in snow.

These videos were captured from different locations as residents encountered streets covered in ice.

And this wasn’t just something circulating on social media. Authorities issued weather alerts as heavy rain and hail affected multiple areas of the city, with flooding and transportation problems also reported.

It looks like something straight out of Geostorm.
