Just unboxed my ER8411, sounds like I can hear something rattling / rolling around inside. Support is not being helpful when attempting to return the order and states that I need to return it by paying for shipping.

I have recently ordered some equipment for my first setup / homelab. The Fusion 2.5G was include free. Is it worse than just running a OC200 or a Pi 4 as a controller with the ER8411 or would it be beneficial to have have it set up with the ER8411?
I'm starting to plan out the start of my homelab. I currently have fiber through a locally owned provided, but been having issues with random buffering and complete dropouts usually 10 pm -1 pm, sometimes outside that window.
T Mobile buying out Metronet has led me to look into their fiber option. I could get 2 gig service for 70/month with autopay discount. However, I was told they will not install just a ONT for me. It will have to be a combo unit even though I have my own router and everything.
Does having a combo unit affect my possibilities of building out my own equipment?
I'm loving the Wave XLR Pro so far, but I think I'm either missing something or running into a limitation with dual-PC setups.
My setup: Stream PC connected via USB HOST, gaming PC connected via USB AUX.
When both PCs are on it's great. But if the stream PC is off and I'm only gaming on the gaming PC, I can't adjust audio levels or switch the output device between my headphones and speakers — I'm stuck with whatever settings were saved before the stream PC was turned off.
Would the Network Dock resolve this?
Is there a way to run Wave Link on the AUX/gaming PC side and still have it communicate with the hardware in Standalone Mode?
If not, hopefully someone from the Elgato team sees this. The Wave XLR Pro is designed really well for dual-PC setups, but Standalone Mode feels like it's missing just one or two things. Output switching and volume adjustments would be huge, especially if you forgot to set the volume before turning the stream PC off.
If anyone has a workaround or can tell me I completely missed something, that would be great!

I've narrowed options down to the Freak Athlete ABX and The Tib Bar Guy Apex. Anyone end up deciding between these two or others? Suggestions between the two of them would be great.
Would likely order the leg extension attachment for sure with either one.
